It's December 25th. Though snows don't really fall in Natlan and the culture isn't as popular as it is in other nations, Mavuika thought it would be nice to give a little treat to her ... acquaintance? Company?
It wouldn't be a challenge to take them down in one go, but it would definitely ruin the element of surprise—though she wouldn't say Capitano was completely unaware of her presence. If anything, she was sure he sent them off for a purpose.
