Aujourd'hui, maman est morte. Ou peut-être hier, je ne sais pas. J'ai reçu un télégramme de l'asile : "AO3 down. 2 à 4 semaines. Sentiments distingués." Cela ne veut rien dire. C'était peut-être hier.

Quinn Hughes after ruining the Wild's prospect pool:
A couple of Bill Guerin quotes about Quinn Hughes today, who didn’t sound all that confident:
“There’s nothing to talk about right now. What am I going to do, say ‘Please, please, please?’”
On the hypothetical in which QH still hasn’t made a decision after a while:
“I haven't really decided, at some point in time I'll have to try to figure things out and see what’s best for the team. I know one thing’s for sure: having Quinn on our team is what’s best for the team. And, you know, I don't know. I’ll be completely honest with you, I don’t know. I don't know what’s going to happen. I don't know what I’m going to do. There’s no date. What we're doing right now is focusing on our team and trying to win hockey games. That’s really it. I think some people want to make this more complicated than it really is — being the media. And it’s not that complicated."

For context, Cooley went on SportsCenter and they liked him so much they asked him to come back at a later slot and then presented him with athletes saying things about mentality and his genuine reaction to Winston was “religious psychosis.”

It never ceases to amaze me how hockey media will endlessly bemoan the lack of personality shown by players but then immediately label any visible personality as bad. And then fail to make the connection between those two things.
Zach Bogosian talking about ripping the puck as hard as he can a mile away from the other dman straight out of the offensive zone every shift
#mnwild have allowed 7 goals against while on the PK this season. Jonas Brodin has been on the ice for 5 of the 7 🥶

Blues coach Jim Montgomery:
"They’re in constant motion. I think Ek is a very underrated player on that line. He’s the one that keeps them connected. He’s the one that wins faceoffs. He’s the one that’s doing all the little things that allow the other two to be so dynamic."
