Read a good account of being responsible for oneself.
The message?
Being reasonable works.
The alternative: allow anger in and sanity leaves.

I remember when I was 22 I was in a McDonalds in Richmond (Melbourne Australia, and to anyone that knows the area, it's DIRECTLY next to a police station.)
It was ~2am at night and everyone in there was drunk on a Saturday night. I was heavily drunk. There was a guy and his girl next to me in line that were also heavily drunk.
She got upset because she thought I cut her in line and got there first - no one was really waiting in a line, we were all drunk people sort of hovering around the checkout. Honestly I couldn't tell you who was there first, maybe she was maybe I was. I was drunk I honestly couldn't tell.
She was extremely agro, I was confused by the agro. I said she can go first, but no need to be so agro "we're all drunk here just getting Maccas before bed."
She pushed me two hands to my chest. I guess her man didn't see the interaction before hand or felt the need to defend/contribute - I got no idea - but he then immediately pushed me as well (much harder).
I pushed him back, and I was much bigger than he was so he went falling backwards. I noticed virtually at the same time I pushed him, cops walked into the shop through the door practically right next to us.
I could kinda sense all they'd seen was me push this guy to the ground. They started yelling at me to turn around and stand against the wall.
I said absolutely no words in response. I just turned around and stood with my hands behind my back face on the wall. They grabbed me. I waited until they had control of me and when they did and they asked - I proceeded to tell them exactly what had happened to the best of my understanding admitting that I was heavily drunk and all I wanted was a bloody snack and to go to bed and sleep all this off.
McDonalds staff corroborated my story. The police insisted I head straight home and that I wouldn't be getting Maccas tonight, I just need to leave. And I left. I apologised for the commotion.
The couple apologised for the commotion.
We all went home and I'm sure the police got their Maccas we all wish we'd had.
The purpose of this story is to suggest that all these nonsense events caught on camera are completely unnecessary. I have absolutely no idea why people get so egotistical when police arrive. It really doesn't matter how you FEEL about a situation. Once the police are involved it's no longer relevant. There will be a time and a place to say words to soothe your ego, but at the outset, words are irrelevant.
Simply listen to commands and cooperate. I have no earthly idea why this is difficult for people.

Worth reading.
You may recall the video of the doc on his way to work in A&E each day gradually getting sicker. Hospital full of covid & flu. No testing, no interest in what he or anyone had. No understanding of infectious period.
He used Copyright to get his video removed.

Dear @UKHSA @YvetteCooperMP,
Why are the eligibility criteria so different for Covid vs Flu vaccines?
Hardly anyone is eligible for a Covid vaccine despite studies showing that BOTH the acute & long-term impacts of Covid are comparatively WORSE than flu on almost every measure.
Replying to @zalaly
COVID-19 had a comparatively higher burden of health loss than seasonal influenza in both the acute and post-acute phase

Sabotage vs. Medical Abandonment 🪳
#LongCOVID isn't an unexplained fatigue syndrome!!
It's active biological sabotage 🧬.
The virus uses its ORF3a protein to lock onto host LDL receptors, draining circulating cholesterol to build viral factories while depleting Vitamin D precursors ☀️.
Our blood-brain barrier is open and damaged 🧠, microvessels are inflamed 🩺, and metabolic pathways are being hijacked.
👉"Go home and rot" doesn't fix active viral lipid theft.
💥We demand objective diagnostic protocols! 🔬

Meanwhile as a former Nurse I’m now disabled by Long Covid. Dismissed by an uncaring NHS, they have the audacity to say I can’t prove I caught it at work. The UK was in lockdown where else could it have come from…
£50 MILLION of taxpayers' money to "SG Recruitment" for PPE!
Tory peer helped secure the deal WHILE holding a financial interest in its parent company!
More than HALF the supplies were unsuitable!
£24 MILLION lost. Company now in liquidation!

Absolutely every child deserves the best start, as evidenced by Labour 🌹in the early 2000s.
So why are children being continually infected?
When is health policy actually harmful?
When it’s another blood products, Post Office scale scandal.

That's even worse.
Choosing not to provide a vaccine because of a financial cost, instead of considering the bigger financial cost of not providing them in the first place.
Disastrous public health messaging from the hand gel will protect you from an airborne virus crew.

Makes you wonder why @UKHSA @UKLabour @andyburnham are restricting access to COVID boosters in the UK, while still in the US they are available even for children 6 months and over.
Imagine having the tools to prevent and reduce illness but opting for hand sanitizer instead 🤷
If you are a parent in the US and have not gotten your kids their COVlD and flu booster shots yet, now is the time.
The past two years, the rollout of available COVlD boosters has gone slowly and with confusion, so I will answer a few common questions.
1. Are my kids eligible?
▪️Children 6 months and older are eligible.
▪️A prescription from a physician generally is not needed.
▪️You generally do not need to attest to your child having a high risk medical condition. That is not required by the CDC.
▪️Note that the implementation of this general guidance may vary by state and pharmacy. Most pharmacies have now worked through the rollout confusion.
2. What options are available?
▪️Moderna (Spikevax): Ages 6 months and up
▪️Pfizer (Comirnaty): Ages 5 years and up
▪️Moderna (mNexspike): Ages 12 years and up
▪️Novavax (Nuvaxovid): Ages 12 years and up
Pfizer and Moderna are mRNA-based, whereas Novavax is a protein subunit (non-mRNA) option. The biggest advantage to Novavax is that current evidence indicates fewer common short-term reactions (e.g., fatigue, headache, injection-site discomfort); the evidence is primarily from adults though. There is no robust comparative effectiveness evidence to date suggesting one option works better than the others; over time, such evidence may emerge, but findings have been mixed thus far, at times even within individual studies.
3. Does COVlD still matter?
▪️Yes, it matters for children. In addition to the importance of reducing acute infections, anyone can develop chronic health problems after any SARS-CoV-2 infection, commonly called Long COVID or post-acute sequelae. Updated boosters can reduce infection risk, urgent care use, and emergency care use, especially in the initial months after boosting. Protection wanes, and the level and durability of protection against infection vary. Especially during waves, additional protection from infection is useful. The studies are mixed as to whether the boosters reduce the chances of Long COVlD among people who get infected, with some suggesting a benefit, and others suggesting no discernible benefit among those infected. The benefit remains even if purely on the side of reducing infection chances.
▪️Yes, it matters for families, schools, and communities. Each infection prevented can stop a forward chain of transmission that can lead others in the family, school, and community to get COVlD. That is helpful for family economics so people are not missing work and beneficial for overall public health. Americans have experienced a steady rise in disability since pandemic onset that continues in 2026. Moreover, people continue to die of COVlD, at lower rates than the first two years since pandemic onset, but often these deaths have shifted to the post-acute phase, months or years after infection. These deaths often show up as heart attacks, excess deaths among people already battling a significant health condition (e.g., cancer, organ damage), and various other causes.
4. Will the COVlD boosters prevent all infections?
▪️No. When scientists use the word "prevent," they often mean "reduce the overall risk of." For example, seatbelts prevent car accident fatalities. This is a poor word choice in public health communication because many assume "prevent" means "stop all risk of." The boosters are not a panacea. They are a good tool and one of the easier tools for reducing risk.
▪️The most effective way to reduce risk of COVlD is to use layered prevention. That includes boosters, wearing well-fitting high-quality masks (for children, a Flo Mask or vetted, well-fitting KN95/KF94 like those sold by Wellbefore and others), using air purifiers, testing, and staying home when sick. These interventions are costly to families, which is why they warrant public funding.
5. Would you get your kids boosted?
▪️Yes. For the reasons noted above, it is the easiest option for reducing risk.
6. Where can my kids get boosted?
▪️Retail chains like Walgreens that have actual in-house pharmacies offer boosters, typically to children 3 years and older. If scheduling through their website, one can often schedule multiple kids for the same appointment time. Local policies and practices may vary.
▪️If seeking out Novavax, Costco is a good option, including for non-members. The major retail chains sometimes carry it. If you talk to a pharmacist, you may need to refer to it as Nuvaxovid.
▪️Children who are covered by Medicaid, uninsured, underinsured, American Indian, or Alaska Native may be eligible to get boosted through the Vaccines for Children Program.
7. What else should I know?
▪️If you and your children do not regularly mask, a pharmacy appointment is a wise place to do so. Often, the booster waiting area is the same place where people are picking up medications for acute illness. Nobody wants to get sick while getting a booster.
▪️Since children under 2 cannot mask, ask a pediatrician to offer the booster outdoors or at the first appointment of the day while those who can mask do so.
8. Do you have any financial conflicts of interest?
▪️No. I do not receive any revenue from any COVlD-related product or business. Scientists must report this to universities annually. I do not accept pharma funding ether. The CMS Open Payments Data directory remains useful for tracking pharma-related funding.

If you live with #LongCovid and spend your time policing anything other than the issues around the utter annihilation of any focus or acknowledgement about the fully body damage of airborne SARS-CoV-2 in 2026, you’ve completely lost the plot.
Seriously, get yourself in check.
Given COVID is a bigger risk, why aren’t you talking about that @DrRosena?
Why is eligibility for a COVID vaccine more restrictive than flu?
Also, why aren’t wearing masks recommended when getting your jabs….bearing in mind flu and COVID are airborne?

.@YvetteCooperMP explains why it's important to get the free NHS flu vaccination if you're eligible.
The vaccine is offered to people at higher risk of becoming seriously ill from flu.

Completely agree that addressing infections should be absolutely integral within the National Cancer Plan.
But I’m concerned you only mention bacterial infections.
Reducing the risk of airborne viral infections like COVID should also be a top priority for cancer patients.
Covid-19 infections can reactivate dormant cancer cells, & trigger the growth of secondary cancers. There is now compelling medical evidence to this effect.
