he feels like finality. like you’ve closed your eyes for the last time and you blink them open again slowly, a field of darkness around you and a low fog settling around your feet. in the void, there stands a lone figure. white petals fall around him from… somewhere above. it’s as if the fog pushes and pulls around him like the tide. he doesn’t seem bothered by the petals landing on his person, and you blink in surprise as they shimmer and dissolve, before continuing to fall from the sky. his eyes are closed and his expression is relaxed. peaceful. in his hand he carries a single stem of white flowers that curves down along his shoulder, they tinkle like bells in the surrounding emptiness. his eyes open slowly. your breath catches. his eyes are so kind and welcoming, like sweet almonds. his free hand slowly rises from his side, reaching out like he’s beckoning you forth. he stays in place, patient, like he has all the time in the world. without even realizing, you begin to stretch out your own hand towards him. your feet move they they have a will of their own, bringing you closer and closer until you’re right in front of him. a flower petal falls on his open palm gently, settling at rest and then shimmering into nonexistence. finally, you understand. your palm meets his and his fingers intertwine with yours. you feel your body getting lighter—less solid. but you don’t feel scared. how could you, when staring at his kind face? instead, all you feel… is peace.

Someday I really want to write a fic with snapshots of 2min and their shared bathroom in the cuties dorm. ~ About Minho in the shower while the Seungmin is brushing his teeth. About Minho putting a steadying hand on Seungmin’s waist while the younger’s shaving so Minho can reach over and grab something from the vanity. About Seungmin seeing a cockroach along the floor and running to Minho about it. About them dancing around one another in the mornings when they’re running late and at night after schedules. About both of them sharing the same set of towels and toothpaste. About Minho using Seungmin’s shower products when his own run out and Seungmin using one of Minho’s bath bombs and restocking them after because they both like the same brand. About those domestic everyday moments.

wait. wait I’m getting ideas. seungsung being supernatural creatures that represent an emotion and seungmin is happiness and jisung hasn’t gained his emotion yet—he’s still a blank slate. so seungmin talks to jisung about things that cause him to be happy every day—bringing him to do fun activities in hopes of helping jisung become happy as well! and it takes a long time, but jisung realizes one day that his happiness isn’t in the arts and crafts they do—isn’t in the eating good food or having a nice dream—it’s in seungmin. seungmin, who tries endlessly, day after day, to bring jisung happiness. jisung’s emotion ends up being love.

🐰🐶 + 🐈🐈🐈‍⬛🍼 Imagine 2min having/adopting a baby and soondoongdori don’t know how to feel about the newest addition to the household. — The little human seems to be taking away the attention of their bigger humans and they’re not used to the new creature. The last time a human stayed over at their house this much, he never left. (But they like Seungmin now. He makes Minho happy and sneaks them extra treats when Minho isn’t looking and he sings very well.) But the little human smells and looks soft and vulnerable and their protective instincts start to kick in slowly but surely. Dori warms up to the baby the quickest. When 2min sat on the couch holding the baby, he’d wander up curiously and sniff the squishy human. It’s hand was so tiny—like a little paw. It was warm too. Minho once placed Dori in the cradle with the baby and they ended up cuddled together, Dori just happy to have another human to give him affection. Doongie was next. He didn’t have a problem with the baby, but he just wasn’t interested. His ears flickered in annoyance whenever the little one started crying, not happy that his afternoon nap was interrupted. He was resting on 2min’s bed one day when Seungmin placed the baby beside him on the bundle of covers. Alarmed, he looked down at the mini human. It reached its little hand out and pet him, hand moving in jerky movements, but seeking out the softness under its fingers. The fingers clenched gently into Doongie’s fur and the cat didn’t move a muscle. 2min cooed at the cat and baby and rewarded Doongie with extra treats that night. Maybe the baby was kind of interesting after all. Soonie took the longest to warm up to the baby. He was the gentlest of the three, but he didn’t like change. And this was a big change. But after the baby got the approval of both Dori and Doongie, 2min caught Soonie slowly inching closer to the baby each day. Ever since the little one first came home, he’d stare down at it from his perch, watching. But every time they’d bring the baby closer, he’d scurrying away. One night, the baby was swaddled on the couch, Minho sitting at the desk in the same room working on paperwork, when the little one managed to tip themself over and fall on the ground. Minho rushed over, but Soonie was quicker. He began licking—grooming—the little bit of hair on the baby’s head, purring to calm down the sobbing child. Miraculously, it was working. Minho watched in awe as the baby’s cries petered out and it slowly fell asleep. When he tried to approach, Soonie hissed lowly at him, curling around the baby protectively. Ever since that day, he became a furry bodyguard for the child.
