We are pleased to announce the inauguration of our third Sona Comstar - Tata STRIVE Skill Development Centre, in Faridabad, Haryana.
The Centre was inaugurated by Mr. Jeffrey M. Overly, Chairman, Sona Comstar; Ms. Priya S Kapur, Non-Executive Director and CSR Chairperson; and Mr. Vivek Vikram Singh, MD and Group CEO, in the presence of senior leaders from Sona Comstar and Tata STRIVE.
The centre will provide free-of-cost training to around 250 unemployed youth every year in high-demand trades.
Through this partnership, we remain committed to empowering youth with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in an evolving economy.
Our financial performance in the first half of FY27 reflects the resilience of our business. This growth reinforces our confidence in achieving the 10X ambition under Sona Comstar 2.0.
EV and Robotics & Physical AI programmes now make up 65% of our net order book, reflecting the changing mix of our business across mobility segments.
We are pleased to share that Sona Comstar achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue, EBITDA, PAT, BEV revenue and BEV revenue share in Q2 FY27.
The quarter also saw strong order wins and progress in technology and new product development. In addition, our Driveline Division received the prestigious 2026 Deming Prize in recognition of its commitment to quality excellence.
Sona Comstar continued its growth momentum in Q2 FY27, recording 35% year-on-year revenue growth and 129% growth in BEV revenue.
With new business wins, an expanding product portfolio and continued progress across our strategic priorities, we remain focused on building for the future.

On the 55th birth anniversary of our Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Sunjay J Kapur, we came together to pay tribute to his life and memory.
The occasion was marked by the unveiling of a commemorative sculpture in his honour, followed by prayers, floral tributes and personal remembrances shared by those who knew and worked closely with him.

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited, Driveline Division, has been awarded the 2026 Deming Prize for Total Quality Management (TQM) by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE).
The award marks the culmination of a journey of more than nine years, built on a sustained focus on quality, stronger systems, better processes and continuous improvement across the Driveline business.
This achievement reflects the commitment of the entire Driveline and TQM teams, under the leadership of Vivek Vikram Singh, with Vikram Verma Vadapalli and Balaji playing a key role in driving the Deming journey over the years.
The guidance of Yukihiro Ando-san and Kiran Deshmukh has also been an important part of this journey, helping the teams stay focused, challenge themselves and strengthen the organisation’s approach to TQM.
Most importantly, this recognition belongs to the people who stayed with the process year after year — through reviews, quality visits, long hours, course corrections and continuous improvement.
The milestone also carries special meaning for Sona Comstar. Winning the Deming Prize was something our Chairman Emeritus, Sunjay Kapur, deeply wanted for the organisation, and his belief in building a world-class company with quality at its core continues to inspire the journey.
