To those attacking @Soni_Razdan over her appeal to people to be mindful while bursting crackers, dragging her daughter and son-in-law into it, bringing in national and anti-national propaganda, and whatnot, I pity your pea-sized brains, especially when they're in such a dried-up state.
I'm responsible for my every action, good or bad, but that doesn't mean my family loses the right to appeal to others not to make the same mistakes. Her appeal to be mindful while bursting crackers isn't just for her own sake, but for everyone's health, including yours and that of your loved ones... your son, daughter, son-in-law, and, of course, their children.
So stop being a hate monger and think for a while. If that's still too difficult a task, imagine the faces of your children or grandchildren lying on a hospital bed, struggling to breathe with an oxygen mask on their faces...!
Happy Diwali to you and your loved ones.
I wish this Diwali I could gift you a working brain and the ability to think logically.

Not bursting crackers when Delhi AQI is 600 does not hurt sentiments. No one’s lungs will be spared even if you don’t know it yet.
Diwali was always the festival of lights. Light the diyas and eat all the mithai that you can. 🪔

I have never understood people who get mad at anyone saying "don't burst crackers". Diwali is the festival of light, not sound. Who are these people? And are they retarded, brought up by parents who are imbeciles, skipped school? This isn't about religion or politics. People would just like to breathe.

Dear @AmericanExpress sometimes it’s very difficult to pay your bills. It’s not a one time issue. It happens again and again almost every month.

I do hope you can resolve this because it is not a one-time problem.

This day in history: Quit India Movement launched in 1942. Wish I could go back in a Time Machine and witness that historic moment. These fine people sacrificed their freedom, families and lives so that we could live free. 84 years later, the least we can do is protect the freedom they fought for. A standout feature as below pic shows is the number of WOMEN who were involved in it. As for those who stayed away and why that debate for another day!) Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

ASKING: Will we ever see the day when IT cell trolls who hurl vile abuse every day—especially at women in public life—are held accountable, let alone apologise? Or will these serial offenders continue to enjoy complete impunity while teenagers face FIRs and threats? One law for the powerful, another for everyone else?🙏

He didn’t carry a weapon. He carried food. He didn’t incite violence. He served meals. Since when did being a food volunteer at Jantar Mantar during CJP protests become a crime? Who will stand up for Junaid? A police force that sees a food volunteer as a threat needs to ask itself some hard questions.🙏
#BREAKING Junaid Malik, the food volunteer at the CJP student protests in Delhi, moves the #SupremeCourt alleging harassment and detention by police.
Junaid says that he was picked up from Delhi by police officials, and was kept in a vehicle for 5-6 hours, during which he was threatened and intimidated, and was ultimately dropped off at a far off location in Dehradun road.
Junaid also says that Ghaziabad police detained his father, and raided his home. The police also allegedly visited his married sister's home at Meerut and picked up her father-in-law and brother-in-law. He alleges that the coercive steps were not taken with any paper-work and following legal procedure.
Junaid urges Supreme Court to stop coercive steps by police against his family members.

I'd like to believe a citizen on a 16day hunger strike warrants a conversation with the government whose actions brought him to that place. I say ‘a citizen’ because perhaps any citizen fighting for a cause, for students, would expect the same. Acknowledgment at some level of govt. I cannot imagine a person who wants harm to come to Mr Wangchuk. I don’t see why a mere dialogue is this hard. As a citizen, I don’t pretend to understand any sort of political manoeuvring. As a citizen, I’ve certainly been proved wrong more than I have been right. Political strategy, alliances aside, as a citizen…you cannot dispute what he is fighting for. Younger citizens. Happy to be called naive, simplistic, or ignorant. But I see students crying for help, a citizen on a hunger strike, and I request my govt to engage in dialogue.

watched #Alpha again & I loved it even more than I did the first time. It's such an entertaining watch with some really well executed action, strong emotional moments, and a refreshing attempt at doing something different within the spy genre. Yes, the film could've been better in a few areas, but what works, really works. I could honestly watch #AliaBhatt's entry scene over & over again without ever getting bored & as I said earlier, the hand to hand combat sequences are genuinely some of the film's biggest strengths. Huge credit to Shiv for directing those action scenes so well.
As for the negativity, I think it became a secondary factor. In my show, the occupancy was around 65-70%, and people were genuinely enjoying the film. Families and youngsters were cheering, laughing & having a great time throughout.
imo the biggest problem, was the release date. It got sandwiched between two of the biggest comedy sequels, and that's what hurt its box office the most. I blame YRF for that decision. If the same film, even with all the paid negativity and the 1.5-star review drama, had released during Bakrid when there was barely any movie release, the story would've been very different.
In short, people who are actually watched Alpha are enjoying it and recommending it to others. The negativity did have some impact, but the release timing was the biggest reason it couldn't reach the numbers it deserved!
