The responses are a great example of how women uphold patriarchy and groom other women to accept misogyny.
Woman notices how men see sex, hordes of women line up to tear her to shreds for noticing. These women are nowhere to be seen when men are degrading women online.

reminder that this means that other artists under hybe or any hybe affiliated label most likely have the same contract. newjeans wasn’t the first victim of these slave contracts and they won’t be the last if there isn’t real repercussions for these companies

NewJeans' Contract terms were Non Negotiable according to New York Times.
In January 2022, the mother of one member requested several changes before signing.
“If you do not agree to the current contract draft, including the points above, it may be best to reconsider the contract itself,” Ador’s vice president responded.
The parents all signed.

Very eye-opening and heartbreaking article from the NYTimes. They managed to get a hold of the NewJeans contract, and while there's a bunch to discuss, it is sad to see they stripped away some of the child protection clauses. Stuff like this should be criminal. HYBE is evil.
The New York Times has obtained the contracts the NewJeans members signed between the ages of 14-17 and has has published an extensive investigation into their contracts.
revealing some of the restrictive clauses the members agreed to as teenagers, including provisions concerning their personal freedom, financial penalties, and the indefinite use of their voices and likenesses.

According to HYBE’s own documentation, the company handles legal matters for all of its labels through an internal Legal Management System.
This includes:
• Exlcusive Contract Drafting
• Exclusive Contract Review

According to a meeting transcript filed in court, NewJeans' family members asked ADOR not to retaliate against the members following the dispute.
However, the company made no such assurances, stating that the group's hiatus had already cost it a significant amount of money.
This contradicts the stance ADOR maintained publicly throughout the dispute, when the company claimed it would not pursue damages against the members if they returned.

All labels are required to follow HYBE’s contract template, which means this affects other HYBE artists as well. Do you guys understand how serious this is now?

HYBE owns the girls' likeness, names, and voices even after 2029 comes and the contract ends. On a regular contract, this would end once the period was done, but that clause was removed. Reminder, this is a template used by all HYBE groups, not just NewJeans.

Depp's own former agent, Tracy Jacobs, who represented him for 30 years, testified against Depp and refuted his lies that Amber's accusations were the reason he lost work, and not his own unprofessional behaviour.

Before the trial, Depp was unemployable, because he was known to be completely unprofessional, violent, and impossible to work with. The only reason why he’s getting jobs again is because he became popular after using the courts to abuse Heard on a public scale. Very depressing.
