Last night, @higgsfield sent @ComfyUI a cease and desist (attached)
They want the Open Source Higgsfield challenge taken down within 48 hours.
Their argument is that our use of the Higgsfield name and that using their CEO's likeness is an infringement violation (man, the irony). Claiming that it makes the event look like Higgsfield is associated with it.
This couldn't be farther from the truth, which is that Higgsfield made a promise to open source its product and never did.
For the past two weeks, builders have been recreating popular closed apps as open workflows anyone can run.
So we asked our community to deliver where Higgsfield failed: apps in the open, built by the community, for the community. We've made it clear that the challenge is organized by ComfyUI and not affiliated with or endorsed by Higgsfield.
When we started Comfy, we made the community a promise. Our product stays open, free, and yours. We’ve kept it every day since, and one letter isn’t going to change that.
The challenge stays up. Comfy and open source will win!

They went and recovered most of the kakis that were kidnapped cause of the exploit! don´t know about other projects, but this is real gang
a few days ago there was a vulnerability discovered involving Magic Eden. this impacted many Kemonokaki holders and nearly 1000 Kemonokakis were taken.
our community members, namely danissimo and golo, along with team member stuxneet; were able to recover 900 kemonokakis ♡
you must first revoke the vulnerable Limit Break Payment Process on Base on revoke.cash/ so we can send back the kemonokaki that were able to be recovered.
we will give people a bit of time to revoke and then in the near future we'll begin sending the kakis back to their original wallets that we have been able to save.

We are sharing an interim update regarding an exploit identified with @limitbreak Payment Processor V2, a NFT trading protocol maintained by the company Limit Break and which Magic Eden adopted to settle trades on EVM in 2024.
Magic Eden stopped using Payment Processor V2 in Oct 2024 and ceased our EVM marketplace altogether in Q1 2026. No live Magic Eden listings were impacted in this exploit. We will provide more updates as we investigate the impact further.
We are also contacting Limit Break as they are the owner & maintainer of the protocol to see what other mitigations can be done, including progress on pausing transfers on the protocol. Why are ME listings being shown to be involved?
NFTs listed on ME EVM from approx Feb 2024 to Oct 2024 could be impacted by this issue with the Limit Break Payment Processor v2 contract. Any listings on ME EVM after Oct 2024 should not be impacted here. We are still further refining our investigation and will provide more updates here.
In the meantime, if you listed or traded NFTs on Magic Eden’s EVM marketplace before we shut it down, revoke this contract:
