So The biggest crypto heist on record just happened this week and
~$6.3B moved out of Binance hot wallets in a tight window.
With the Reported entry point being just one compromised DevOps laptop.
So far What stands out to me is the irony.
Cryptoâs âpermissionlessâ story still leans hard on centralized players (stablecoin issuers freezing funds) when the numbers get this big.
The BTC and ETH portions make this even more interesting, especially when it comes to freezing or recovering those funds. Stay SAFU đ

50% of online traffic is unidentified bots. Your identity is rumors spread behind your back. The internet for money needs to be different. Watch how â
Billions Network CEO and co-founder Evin McMullen @provenauthority said in the @idOS_network documentary "At the Crossroads of the Internet for Money"
âOne signature Infinite proofs, Your device.â
Instead of asking Google or a bank to verify every login, what if you could prove things directly from your phone like showing a driverâs license, but without exposing extra data?
Less data shared. No middlemen. You stay in control.
Picture this: you have a driver's license in your wallet. When someone needs to check your age, you just pull it out. You don't have to call the DMV and ask permission first.
Now imagine trying to do that same thing online.
Today, every time you need to prove something about yourself digitally - your age, your identity, that you're a real person - you have to go through some company's server. Google's. Facebook's. Some random third party that now has all your data.
And here's the worse part: those systems don't talk to each other. The government ID system can't talk to your bank. Your bank can't talk to new stuff like crypto payments. Everything is siloed. If you want AI agents to pay for things on your behalf? Forget it. Nothing connects.
So Evin McMullen @provenauthority, Billions Network co-founder and CEO, asked: why can't your digital identity work like your physical wallet?
Your government already signed your passport. That signature is tamper-proof. What if you could generate zero-knowledge proofs straight from your device - proving you're over 18 without revealing your birthdate, proving you're human without exposing who you are?
No middleman. No surveillance. No permission needed.
Just pull out your proof whenever you want, like pulling out your driver's license.
That's what Billions Network built with institutions like the European Commission and government systems. W3C open standards that connect everything: government ID systems, blockchain payment rails for AI agents, legacy infrastructure.
One signature. Infinite proofs. Your device.

After researching AI agents my main take is:
The people who can clearly articulate their thinking into clean, structured Markdown files will have AI agents that feel like an extension of themselves
This is the main difference between execution and exposure.
A DEX will only need enough info to settle your trade not your balance or history. When everything is public by default, users pay the hidden cost in targeting, leaks, and lost leverage.
Privacy isnât hiding wrongdoing
If you're swapping tokens, a DEXâs smart contracts need to know only the trade details, but random observers don't need to see your entire transaction history, wallet balance, or who you've transacted with.
Privacy is a fundamental requirement for normal financial operations.
Businesses need to protect competitive information. Individuals deserve protection from stalkers, scammers, and bad actors who target visible wallets. Salary payments shouldn't reveal compensation details to competitors.
With RAILGUN, privacy is the default. Users can choose to reveal information when needed, while maintaining control over their information at all times.

Wow it Feels less like an ending and more like a pause to take stock.
A lot of people showed up consistently during this campaign, and that kind of effort usually has a way of carrying forward even after the official timeline ends.
Curious to see what comes next @billions_ntwk

Funny how we worry more about weak Wi-Fi than weak data protection.
This IG leak showed how âharmlessâ emails or phone numbers become weapons once exposed.
The issue is not even the hack, itâs systems that treat privacy as optional.
Thatâs why privacy first design matters.
Last month, 17 million Instagram accounts, usernames, emails, phone numbers, were leaked online.
Millions of people woke up to the same reality: their personal data, once private, was suddenly visible to strangers.
It wasnât just inconvenient. It was dangerous. Phishing attacks, impersonation, SIM swapping all of it became possible in an instant.
Simple identifiers, once harmless, turned into tools hackers could exploit.
Systems that treat privacy as optional, that assume data can be exposed safely, will always fail the people relying on them. Everyday users, not just tech experts, are the ones left to manage the fallout.
The lesson is clear: privacy canât be an afterthought.
Verification shouldnât require oversharing & data shouldnât need to be public for systems to function.
Thatâs where privacy-first architectures change the game.
Zero-knowledge systems let you prove whatâs true, that an account is valid, a payment is legitimate, or a credential is verified, without exposing the sensitive details behind it.
Itâs not magic. Itâs math.
Verification without exposure.
Security without compromise.
In a world where personal data can leak overnight, privacy-first design isnât optional anymore.

The Davos exchange was revealing (not for the joke, but for what it signaled).
Central banks are very good at managing systems they already control. Theyâre less comfortable evaluating assets that exist without an issuer, without discretion, and without a policy lever.
That discomfort often shows up as analogies that flatten important differences.
Beef, apples, coal - all depend on supply chains, storage, spoilage, and domestic production. And reserve assets are meant to do the opposite.
Bitcoin forces institutions to confront: What does value look like when it doesnât ask permission?
You can reject the answer. But avoiding the question entirely usually means it matters.
Satoshi famously said âIf you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.â
Yet somehow I do find myself trying to convince people at times :) Crypto is disrupting the financial system, and it's getting more rare to find true skeptics out there. But a few holdouts do still exist.
We should explain it as much as is necessary to make it happen.
big update from billions network đ "not official yet"
the community allocation has been increased to 40%, and that is a strong signal the team is prioritizing long term users, builders, and real contributors
important detail though
not all of this 40% will be liquid at tge
based on current emission charts and circulating supply targets, the community unlock at tge likely lands somewhere around 8% to 20%, with the remainder vesting linearly over 48 months
there is no exact number published yet
so this video breaks down what we can realistically infer from available data, no hype, no guessing
full breakdown in the video đ
