#DeptofCongrats: @_bestack's short story "lika is still waiting (and we are still watching)" was published in the inaugural issue of @spacefantasymag. The story was penned in @marcie_via's "Six Weeks, Six Stories." ✍️ ow.ly/Pl1L50KffRl

lika is still waiting (and we are still watching)

by b.e.stack. Lika waits. She turns her head, with her small dark eyes on either side, to alternately examine the orb that she carries (it is still there)

"Pilgrimage of Worms" is now free to read @spacefantasymag! 1200 words. A mysterious anomaly. Starship body horror. All you need for a complete breakfast. spacefantasymag.com/pilgrima… Thanks @mostlytaylor + crew for having me aboard. I look forward to digesting the inaugural issue!
Painterly, grotesque picture in red and blue colour palette of worm-like aliens emerging from a metallic dish. The central worm is encased in an egg-like membrane. Insectile spaceships fly in background.

p.s. if you got an acceptance from us feel free to tweet that shit and get hyped. Don't let a rejection get you down. We could've easily filled 3 top-notch issues from the work you all offered us. I spent more time thinking on this than I will on my children's names. Keep writing

👾📃 while we work on final decisions, some stats! We've held 42 stories, just over 10% of total subs. Of those, we're budgeted for ~7500 words, or 6-8ish stories. If we asked you to submit again, we meant it. We had to let go of so many writers we'd love to read from again 💚

We've officially read and responded to all stories sent to us on Moksha. However, a handful of emails did give a message delivery error. If you haven't heard back, please shoot us an email! Thank you all for the gift of your words 💚
