Our baby boy had to go to the emergency vet this morning and just diagnosing him cost well over $1k, and he may need surgery which would be another $5k.
If you could help cover costs or share at all we would be so, so grateful.

🧵We had to take my baby boy to the emergency vet this morning. He's currently being kept there and closely monitored. The bill so far is over $1k, and there's a possibility that he might need surgery. I'm running a sale on my shop to try to help cover some of the expenses --
many are saying this, but I think it'd be very funny if this site had a massive drop in usership, so you can find me over at saltwort.bsky.social
I was trying to hold a zoom meeting and they were laughing over this so hard for so long I made them leave their desk and go downstairs.

R. Tessera / Tile Rat — my piece for titmouse NYC’s first art show. 🐀 this little guy’s made out of paperclay, gouache, pastel, tiny mosaic squares, and an old subway token mounted on a 4” x 4” tile. he’s like a child to me.
