Spirallogram: THE HUB
Collections of everything and anything I think you'll find some enjoyment exploring. Mainly playlist but maybe there could be something else I'd like to do in the future.

An immediate highlight on new DJ Suzy is “stormwind city”.
I've been kinda afraid during the rollout that we will lose ambient pop Suzy but I'm glad she's still around and better than ever. It's a beautiful twinsong to Oklou's “what's good”.

Indonesian police have fired water cannon at protesters in Borneo who were rallying against toxic haze caused by the worst forest fires in over a decade. Demonstrations have taken place across the country.
I can't imagine not loving DJ Suzy to be honest. Like, that's Scandi-Pop royalty in the making — like Annie, Robyn, Sally Shapiro; she's in that lineage of greatness.

THIS is what capitalism wants from you. capitalism oppresses you to the point of sucking the life out of you. you can’t afford buying books or going to the cinemas anymore? exactly. capitalism wants you to be nothing more than a machine, and to do nothing but labor.

New Sophia Stel is actually Addison (2025) for the girls who knew they can't (and don't want to) be an IT-GIRL. Yet despite that, there's an emotional resonance between the 2; like embedded tragedy, introversion, and also exercise in confidence despite imperfections.
Both albums also threw reference of a popstar life but from a pov of an amateur starlet (Bitches Talk Shit / Fame is a Gun) instead of the untouchable diva archetype. They're balancing relatability with a sense of ambition and awareness of conversations surrounding them.
4.1st listens for this New Music Friday.
