2g pitches are still very good surfaces, evidenced by the way they are so well used. The pitch that is still there was only laid in 2018 and is in great condition.
If this is happening because the council needs to raise revenue, be honest about it
Feels like twisted logic to claim that a 'need for 3g pitches' justifies the fencing off of a local park with perfectly good 2g/carpet pitches currently available to all
