Dès 5 ou 6 ans, on leur casse les orteils et on les replie sous le pied, serrés dans des bandes de soie.
Le pied idéal mesure environ 7,5 cm, on l'appelle le « lotus d'or ». La dernière usine de chaussures pour ces pieds ferme en 1999.

🚨 Yesterday US District Judge Zach Bluestone dismissed Annie Altman’s lawsuit against her brother Sam Altman after she failed to appear for an independent medical examination.
The Missing Context: Mainstream coverage omits that Annie is unable to fly following recent orthopedic surgery. Instead she offered to fly out a physician of Sam’s choosing at her own expense, but Judge Bluestone rejected the request.

I hated this, despite being an online student, you can still feel when a professor is making it their own thing — they’re interactive, they email you their thoughts on assignments, they praise you in comms boards, they TRY. But some? They’ll have the whole course on ts smfh
