Unfortunately lived through Bradford and Sheffield Wednesday so this doesn’t really affect me. Older fans lived through Wrexham too. The people who they should affect are the players. Massive learning curve for Salmon & Dowman. Everything‘s been positive around them so far so a bit of adversity can’t do too much harm. Havertz really wasteful but we already know that about him. Gyökeres however. Even though he scored, I don’t think he did anything else for the rest of the game. He didn’t do much away to the top half teams in the Premier League last season, but this is a new low I remember after Bradford Wenger was getting all the criticism because it was eight years without a trophy. I always felt that the players were 100% responsible and they were able to hide behind. Wenger. I feel the exact same way today. All responsibility and accountability should be directed at the players. I don’t want to be too critical because in the grand scheme of things, it’s a one off game and if it was played 100 times we probably win it 99 times However, some of these players need to take responsibility.
