Done right, a compiler should be able to figure out type automatically. It’s not that hard. Not that it will matter much in the AI future.

I’ve been reluctant to try ChatGPT. Today I got over that reluctance. Now I understand why I was reluctant. The value of 90% of my skills just dropped to $0. The leverage for the remaining 10% went up 1000x. I need to recalibrate.

The best code is no code. Where there is no code, there are no bugs. No API to learn. No awkward UI. The best refactors are deletions.

I have never seen a language that transpiles to JavaScript succeed. (And I predict I never will) The semantic mismatch is never worth any marginal improvements! TypeScript is JavaScript with no semantic mismatch, and that is why it is winning!

The dominance of Mac and Linux in the developer market makes it EXCEPTIONALLY HARD to support Windows users. I'm not sure how could we still be inclusive (windows machines are cheaper) and at the same time keep innovating our libs.

It’s a good job Apple aren’t in the software business ;) Website can’t handle a bit of load!

Angular v12.2 is out now! 💓 #ngUpdate for some CRISP features like: ‣ split two-way binding checks ‣ support for opt-in rxjs7 with `npm install rxjs@7` ‣ new forms validators ‣ better template autocomplete support in the language service & more!

In 2021 using .Net Core and its confusing versioning strategy is nothing but pain!
