The death of Tenerifeβs Jesus de Miguel just reminds me of how lucky Nnamdi Anthony (then of Bendel Insurance) was in February last year when an opposing goalkeeper did this to him. Of course red carded.
But Anthony was sent to the ICU straight and missed the rest of the year 2025. Goalkeepers should be taught to take it easy outside their penalty box abeg.
