It actually scares me that a Prime Minister can be this ignorant. Well done Shabana for getting it right! Under the two way Dublin agreement we were net recipients of asylum seekers. Numerically, we didn't return anyone.
Second referendum campaign is going to be like shooting fish

So..... it isn't a white European settler colonial project then?
There are one million Moroccan jews occupying Palestine. Half a million Yemeni jews. Half a million Iraqi jews. A quarter of a million Iranian jews. None of these people are White or European. What unites the occupiers in Palestine is their religion.

£3 TRILLION in debt—and the big triumph? A penny off gherkins! 🥒 Families are struggling, bills are soaring, but here’s the grand plan: cheaper pickles! Put the giant gherkin down and stop treating taxpayers like fools. Britain needs leadership, not pickle-sized PR!CK !

FGS! 🤦‍♂️ Though, given their record of outright lies, this latest doesn't really suprise me.

This obsession with the Jewish state is a form of racism.
Labour MPs are obsessed with one small area of the Middle East. In the Commons today, 6 out of 8 questions to the foreign office by Labour MPs related to Palestine

BREAKING: Francesca Albanese, Hamas’ de facto U.N. spokesperson, gets rebuked after her presentation by a cross-regional coalition including the United States, Italy, Argentina, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechia, and Fiji. Argentina: “The objectivity is questionable. The report overlooks the military use of civilian infrastructure such as schools by Hamas and other terrorist groups.” Fiji: “Resolution 5/2 binds every mandate holder to impartiality and restraint. A pattern of public commentary has in our assessment moved outside that code.” Romania: “The issue of antisemitism as well as Holocaust distortion and denial are top priorities for my country.” Italy: “The independence and credibility of the mandates are best served by the consistent respect and application of the Code of Conduct.” Bulgaria: “It is essential that special rapporteurs be guided in their work by the Code of Conduct for special procedure mandate holders of the Human Rights Council and uphold the principles of independence, impartiality, objectivity, balance, and non-selectivity.” Czechia: “We wish to underline the importance of impartiality, accuracy, and due consideration of the historical context in the special rapporteur's work.”

Always happy to rebut mendacious anti-semitic activism
Watch the full video here: youtube.com/watch?v=Cqf5dOvZ… We got a furious response from the former Conservative minister Lord Michael Gove when we asked about his position on Israel at the Labour Conference. Gove claimed he knew more about antisemitism than Zack Polanski, the only Jewish leader of a major political party in the UK. He also accused us of not being journalists and of an obsession with Israel, despite the Labour government's change in position on the occupation of Palestine being the key topic at this year's conference. Gove now sits in the House of Lords and is editor of right-wing magazine The Spectator.

Yesterday, I was barred from entering the West Bank by Israeli officials, as part of a @ProgIntl delegation. What's happening here in Palestine is unjust. We've just witnessed what Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and many others have called a genocide unfold in Gaza. We came here to show the world, and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. The Israeli government didn't allow that.

Yep. The price of baked beans and bus fares.
In his first 100 days as Prime Minister, Andy Burnham has been tackling the long term problems that have been ignored for far too long and giving people vital breathing space on the cost of living.

Election Day in Israel and I am here to vote. These are the first elections since the massacre October 7. This is also the first time since 1988 that a government in Israel completed its 4 years term. A big day. Good luck to us all. 🇮🇱

Hobson's choice for Israel. If they had let you in you'd have done a video attacking Israel all the same. You went there to attack Israel and here you are attacking Israel. Job done for you isn't it?

😂 Nick Ferrari bursts out laughing as Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds is forced to sell the latest government gimmick live on @LBC Reynolds looked thoroughly embarrassed as he tried to sell the plan to scrap import tariffs on a list of “everyday essentials”. When Ferrari asked him which products were included and what the actual savings would be, Reynolds immediately started dampening expectations, sheepishly admitting these were “not huge reductions” before reeling off the list: baked beans, chocolate, gherkins… That’s as far as he got. Ferrari could not contain himself and burst out laughing. 😭 Nick then pointed out that the Conservatives have called the projected saving of £21 per year “derisory”. You could see Reynolds was mortified reading it out. Imagine the brief he opened this morning and realised he had to go on air and sell this to the public. 😬 What a farce. Even on the government’s own figures, this works out at roughly 40p a week for the average household. Forty pence a week. You lucky people. Another pointless gimmick that will have zero material impact on people’s lives.

If he was an activist supporting the Uyghurs, rocked up in China and decided to go tour Xinjiang he'd be held for a great deal longer than 8 hours. But then, he wouldn't do that because he doesn't give a stuff about the Uyghurs.

For the racist little pricks who apparently need this explained: Kemi Badenoch was born in LONDON. She grew up abroad and returned to Britain at 16. She is now 46, married and a mother of three Disagree with her policies. Challenge her arguments. That’s politics. Treating her skin colour or Nigerian heritage as grounds to question whether she belongs here is racism. Have the backbone to own what you’re doing instead of dressing it up as patriotism. Britishness is not a whites-only club, and you miserable bigots are not its membership committee. And any politician who panders to that poison deserves contempt, whatever party badge they wear. She belongs here. Your racism belongs in the fucking gutter.
