The growing attendance problem in college football isn't difficult to understand. The games don't matter nearly as much. No one cares about conference championships. Rivalries have been diminished. Reg season diminished. Playoffs & mega conf, transfer portal ruined CFB.

Seeing a lot of pictures of low attendance across CFB today.
1. The cost of living is high. These ticket prices are outrageous.
2. For years college football fans have been loud about not liking the direction the sport is headed. Yet the people in charge have doubled down and ripped away a lot of what made CFB unique and different. Example: 24 team playoff is extremely unpopular amongst CFB fans yet they did it anyway. Ignoring the customers is never a good long term business model.
