To be clear, I have little interest in debating someoneās opinion on a stock. The only reason Iām addressing this is because the Trout Fish account continues to challenge others publicly, then blocks them before any engagement to the actual discussion. I have no respect for that.
Now, regarding Ayr and Busby.
These are 2.8 GWh of potential projects in Scotland. Both require Section 36 consent under the Electricity Act 1989 before construction can proceed.
Busby remains in the pre-application stage. It has not submitted its full Section 36 application and faces organized community opposition, including a petition approaching 3,000 signatures.
Ayrās formal planning application and approval status remain unverified. Neither project has a publicly confirmed final investment decision, financing close, firm Eos purchase order or commercial operation date.
There is also no publicly established timeline for a final planning determination on either project. Scottish Ministers are not bound by a fixed statutory determination deadline.
This is precisely the issue Iāve continued to raise with Eos.
We have seen countless project announcements, development agreements and potential deployments across the pipeline. Yet relatively few have demonstrated the commercial milestones necessary to translate those opportunities into meaningful backlog expansion.
Could Ayr and Busby eventually represent ~$665M in additional backlog? Absolutely. That would be significant.
But treating potential future conversions as a rebuttal to actual backlog performance is fundamentally flawed.
Eos entered 2026 with $702M in backlog. Nine months later, weāre sitting at $765M despite a $24B+ pipeline.
My criticism has never been about the absence of opportunity. Itās about the pace of execution and the lack of visibility into when these opportunities become firm orders.
Until those dominoes start falling, hypothetical conversions donāt change the numbers.
Have a great weekend & see you all Nov. 5
I get asked probably once a week by someone wanting to take a photo of my Cybertruck.
Most of the time, itās with their kid. Or tourists.
Then there was the gentleman earlier this week, wearing Gucci shoes, who confidently walked up and said, āTeslas are gay.ā
Now THAT⦠is why I enjoy driving this thing.
Cheers

As investors, weāve experienced absolute highs & lows. Very little in between⦠with the lows lasting far longer.
A lot of work remains. But separate the stock price from the underlying business, for a moment.
Eos is part of the 2020 SPAC class. Many didnāt survive. They werenāt supposed to make it this far.
Convert the backlog & tell the story beyond just one quarter. Patient investors demand it.

BYOP. Bring Your Own Power.
President Trump reinforced a significant shift in how large-scale AI infrastructure should be developed and financed.
āNew and large, in some cases gigantic, Data Centers are mandated by me to make their own electricity, and give or sell any excess back to the local community, or grid.ā
He also called for developers to provide a financial ādividendā to surrounding communities.
The implications:
- Hyperscalers taking greater responsibility for generation capacity and infrastructure costs.
- Dedicated generation, microgrids and energy storage becoming increasingly important to reliability and project economics.
- Greater emphasis on protecting existing ratepayers while accelerating AI infrastructure development.
This reinforces the broader market opportunity for Eos and domestically manufactured long-duration energy storage.
As power generation moves closer to the point of consumption, storage can provide flexibility, manage peak demand & support reliability across interconnected generation assets.
The shift is no longer just about securing electricity. Itās about financing, building and managing the infrastructure required to deliver it.
Trumpās comments reinforce that direction

Arguably the most significant operational update investors have received to date.
Line 2 increased from 1% of total battery production in Q2 to 17% in Q3, while achieving first-pass yields aligned with Line 1.
This is the first meaningful evidence of Eos successfully replicating its manufacturing process across production lines and scaling its manufacturing footprint.
More importantly, Line 2 continues to operate on partial shifts. GAAP gross margins improved 16ā18 percentage points QoQ.
A significant milestone in validating the scalability of Eosās manufacturing model.
šØ Convert the backlog, Joe.

Folks, big pictureā¦
As of today, I believe the market has this wrong. The market can be right about the price today & wrong about the opportunity tomorrow.
Congratulations to the shorts, the bears and those who have wanted to see this company fail. Including those with personal grievances toward Joe. 2026 has been great for you in terms of the top sentiment driver.. stock price.
Bulls have had their moments. Bears have ultimately won the equity battle thus far.
I donāt know what Q3 will bring. Or whether management can deliver the execution, growth and line of sight into 2027ā2028 that investors deserve. But the earnings progress thus far favors the bulls.
What I do know is that the market is demanding battery storage solutions to a growing list of problems. That demand isnāt going away.
Thereās also an undeniable government component to Eos playbook. A politicianās public image is arguably their most valuable asset. Weāve seen elected officials publicly associate themselves with Joe and Eosās American manufacturing footprint. This, amongst many things, including FPUSA.. has truly not taken shape to be factored.
2026 has brought significant valuation destruction despite tangible QoQ operational progress.
Execution risk undeniably remains. Itāll never go away. But Q4 2025 earnings left a dark cloud over management credibility and projections. That confidence still needs to be rebuilt & it starts with hitting 2026 guidance.
Investing requires conviction when the market disagrees with you. Thereās a difference between a broken stock & a broken thesis. As of today, this thesis is alive.
Until proven otherwise, I still believe Eos represents one of the most compelling pure-play opportunities in the BESS markets.
I canāt guarantee what happens in a few weeks. But the opportunity remains significant.
Congratulations to the bears. Youāve won on equity value in 2026, to this point.
-> But this company is still very much alive.
Good luck
