Elijah Jones

George Mason’s Elijah Jones is one of the most intriguing Mid Major players in college basketball next season. The 6’9 Junior Forward had a strong season for UTEP where he averaged 13/5/1 and 1 BPG while shooting 48% from the field and 39% from three on 4 attempts a game. Jones has a good mix of athleticism, strength, shooting, finishing, shot blocking, and off ball instincts that makes him a very valuable versatile player on the court. Jones is a strong athlete with a high motor who’s extremely versatile and efficient on the offensive end, as he shot 65% at the rim and 39% from three. Jones is good at using his athleticism to get to his spots at the rim in the half court or in transition, and his shooting ability gives him a ton of versatility as a 4. Jones is also a strong shot blocker who uses his athleticism to be a solid shot blocker at the 4.
