Still no certs. I don’t even like saying I failed the 601 security + my score was. 708. I’m proud of that score I study my ass off. I’m retaking it in December.I don’t even know what direction I want to go anymore with cyber security. I do feel like giving up all the time.

Never said it wasn’t my leader but speaking from my POV My pov is mostly application logic over assumed network and in software engineering we’re blessed with layers of abstraction But network Engineering is literally the reality that everyone’s abstraction runs on.

software engineering is harder than traditional network engineering, pls. the reason i say this is because of the kinds of problems you'd typically solve in these roles. there are many other jobs and engineering disciplines that are harder than software engineering, but traditional network engineering certainly isn't one of them.
