Hmmm....very good points on a totally plausible scenario. Short or long, hedge thyself. $CRWV $IREN
The timing of this whole AI credit freakout is almost comical. Market spends 2 weeks having a collective nervous breakdown over neocloud CDS, financing gaps, circular capex and the impending death of the entire AI industrial complex. Every macro tourist with a bloomberg terminal is suddenly an expert in GPU depreciation and nobody is making any money from AI except NVIDIA selling chips to companies that will all go bankrupt. Then Anthropics S1 drops and, well, would you look at that. Turns out the revenue base might be considerably more diversified than the bears have been telling us. Awkward fucking timing. Remember the argument that 80% of Anthropic's revenue came from just 8 companies? Meta supposedly 10% by itself? According to the quoted s1 numbers, the top 5 customers accounted for just 21% of Q3 revenue, down from 36% in Q1. Nobody individually exceeded 10% over the first nine months. That's a pretty dramatic broadening of the customer base in six months. My view is that this shakeout may have arrived right before the market gets much better evidence of actual AI monetization. And if that's true, the setup becomes pretty nasty for the overcrowded bear trade. Because if a few financing deals close, CDS stops screaming, the existential discount starts evaporating and everyone discovers that they were shorting a capital intensive industrial transition as if it were a demandless Ponzi scheme. For $IREN, $NBIS and $CRWV, this is a scenario worth watching.

🦔SpaceX signed a commitment to lease about $40 billion of Nvidia’s next-generation chips through a fund managed by Apollo, which SpaceX calls the largest GPU financing ever. Payments run about five years and start when the chips arrive in 2027. SpaceX carried about $38 billion of debt at the end of September, so this roughly doubles what it owes. My Take SpaceX’s CFO says its AI infrastructure pays for itself in less than a year. If that held up, SpaceX could buy the chips out of its own profits within a couple of years rather than commit to five years of payments to Apollo. Five years is also a long time for a chip. Nvidia puts out a new generation about every year, so by 2029 these will be a couple of generations old, and SpaceX will still owe about $8 billion a year in principal on them. Musk posted the same weekend that more than 200 neoclouds face “guppy-level death.” He’s right that the smaller GPU renters are in trouble, and he just put SpaceX’s balance sheet behind the idea that it’s big enough to survive the cull. The money behind this lease comes from Apollo, BlackRock and KKR, the same private credit firms that want into your 401(k). If the bet goes wrong, some of that loss could end up in regular people’s retirement accounts. Hedgie🤗

BREAKING: Yemen’s Houthis have reportedly struck Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery at Ras Tanura with a ballistic missile, triggering a fire at one of the Kingdom’s most critical oil export hubs, per Bloomberg. Ras Tanura is the cornerstone of Saudi oil exports, housing a refinery with a 550,000 barrel-per-day capacity and a terminal that handled over 5 million barrels daily before the war. With Yanbu on the Red Sea already hit, Saudi Arabia’s two main export arteries are now under fire. It comes as Riyadh reportedly offered Yemen’s Houthis $1 billion through Iran to halt attacks on the Kingdom, but the Houthis struck the kingdom's most vital terminal anyway.

Good Morning from Germany, where Mercedes is also being hit hard by the China shock. It joins BMW & VW in cutting its outlook, now targeting a car margin of just 2–3%, vs up to 5% before. Shares tumble 5.4%, taking this year’s loss to more than a third. Germany’s Big Three are now worth just €106bn combined. Tesla alone is worth €1.4tn, more than 13 times as much. China, once their profit engine, has become a major liability.

Senator Padilla continues to demonstrate his profound respect for the founding documents. It is truly impressive how easily he can call for government investigations into private citizens simply because he dislikes their speech or their business decisions. The First Amendment, the Fourth Amendment, and the Fifth Amendment must be very flexible concepts in his mind. Perhaps the Bill of Rights was only meant as a temporary suggestion until certain people found it inconvenient. This kind of selective reading of the Constitution is exactly what we can expect if Democrats get back in charge, I guess. Very reassuring for anyone who still thinks the government is supposed to follow the rules that apply to everyone else.

FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water. The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis. Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures." Full story here foxnews.com/politics/inside-…

Don't hate #boomers because of thier social security benefit. First you must understand the system. Convince me that I'm wrong...c'mon #Zoomer.
IDA MAY FULLER PAID $24.75 INTO SOCIAL SECURITY. SHE GOT BACK $22,888. YOU WON'T. 👵💰 Meet Ida May Fuller. A legal secretary from Ludlow, Vermont, and the very first American to get a monthly Social Security check. She paid in for three years. Total taxes: $24.75. Her first check, on January 31, 1940, was $22.54. One check and she'd almost made her money back. Then she lived to 100. By the time she died in 1975, she'd collected $22,888.92. That's a return of about 92,400%. Bernie Madoff would have killed for those numbers. And to be fair, Ida's deal worked the same way his did: early people get paid with the money from the people who come later. Now let's do YOUR math. Say you earn $60,000 a year for 40 years. You and your employer pay 12.4% into Social Security. That's $7,440 a year. $297,600 over your career. 📈 Invest that same $7,440 a year at a boring 5% and you'd retire with about $900,000. Pull 4% a year and that's roughly $36,000 a year for life. When you die, your kids get the $900,000. 📉 Social Security? The average retiree check this year is $2,071 a month. About $25,000 a year. A $60K worker's check lands in that same ballpark. When you die, your kids get... nothing. The check stops. The money's gone. Oh, and you never owned it. The Supreme Court ruled in 1960 (Flemming v. Nestor) that you have no legal right to your benefits. Congress can cut them any time it wants. And it might not even have to vote. The government's own trustees say the retirement trust fund runs dry in 2032. Fold in the disability fund and you buy two more years, to 2034. Either way, after that, automatic cuts of around 20%. So let me get this straight. You pay in for 40 years. You get back less than a basic index fund would pay you. You can't leave it to your kids. You don't legally own it. And it's scheduled to run short before a lot of us even retire. Ida May Fuller got the deal of the century. You got the bill. Worst investment in America. And it's the only one they make you buy. Let's stop pretending. It's a tax. They call it a "contribution" so you won't notice they took it. Then every few years somebody in Washington scares you that it won't be there, so you'll beg them to take MORE. Me? I don't want a rescue plan. I just want my money back. All of it. So kill it. Before it steals from one more American. And no, I'm not stealing from Grandma. You're already collecting? Great. Keep collecting. Not collecting yet? Here's your money back. Straight into a tax-free investment account with YOUR name on it. Not a checking account. Not a spending spree. An investment account. One you own. One the government can't cut, raid or spend. One you can leave to your kids. Imagine if Wall Street sold that product. They'd be in prison. When Washington sells it, they call it a "safety net." 🦋

“Yeah, there are these companies called neoclouds. They buy GPUs from NVIDIA and then rent it back out to the hyperscalers. Where do they get money for the GPUs? Excellent question. Turns out they get the money from NVIDIA themselves, along with a bunch of private credit lenders whose loans are backed by the GPU itself. Elon just said all of them might go to zero soon. Anyways, what are you doing later tonight?”

Don't write off $MP. The US currently has limited operational rare earth processing capacity but is executing an aggressive, multi-billion-dollar reshoring strategy. Washington is actively funding domestic separation, metallization, and magnet-manufacturing ecosystems. This buildout is accelerated by a strict Pentagon procurement deadline taking effect on January 1, 2027. It will ban Chinese-origin rare earths from American weapons systems. To meet this mandate, the DoD and DOE have poured over $7 billion into corporate grants, loan guarantees, and public-private partnerships.

Left wing economists are not really economists…they are political operatives. It started with Malthus…went on to Galbraith…and now it is Reich.
Robert Reich in 2025: Trump is a fascist dictator for even suggesting that a company be taken over by the government and for telling a CEO what to do. Robert Reich in 2026: SpaceX and Starlink must be taken over by the government. Small man, giant fraud.
