My highlight of the year.
In April I was baptized at Agia Moni — one of the oldest churches in Cyprus — and received the baptismal names Georgios Olivianos. Standing in that quiet, icon-lined space, with the ancient walls around me and the threefold immersion, felt like both a clear beginning and a coming home.
The same day was crowned by my Orthodox wedding with Elena. Everything that had led me there suddenly belonged together: the baptism, the names, the vows, the people who stood with us. I’m still grateful for that day — the one that changed everything.
