also with s2 more on my mind, i do kind of wonder if part of what pushed Nat towards Misty in s3 (beyond the fact that she was the only one on her side/her own isolation) was the fact Misty can’t be controlled. she’ll play along but she’s still very self motivated

i also do think there’s a ‘comfort’ for Nat in the fact that Misty doesn’t really ever change fundamentally. doesn’t matter how much worse or how the others morph, Misty is still Misty
