Congrats, Kevin! You're getting a good one @Harvard! Kevin is @MdPublicSchools student member, w/ great insights on education. Our #NASBELegCon would not have been the same w/out his perspective on #studentmentalhealth and the importance of systems that support the #wholechild.
I’m so excited to announce that I will be pursuing my college education for the next four years at @Harvard University! Thanks to everyone who made this dream a reality. I am not 100% certain just yet, but I plan to major in history and science, and minor in educational policy.

If there were people I had to thank most it would be first and foremost my amazing teachers, then loving family, and then the amazing people within the organizations and school systems which developed me into the leader I am today: @MDStuCo, @wcpsmd and @MdPublicSchools – at New Haven, CT

Dr. Lowery was a visionary and leader in education. Having had the pleasure to discuss all aspects of education with her was enlightening. She will be missed, but her words of wisdom, and memories she made will always stay with us. Rest In Peace.
So amazing! A historic accomplishment by @BaltCoSMOB
We did it! With just a few hours left in session, House Bill 192 passed and is headed over to the governor to be signed into law. Our 42nd SMOB, and each SMOB after her, will be able to vote on the budget!!! I am elated. Thank you @EricEbersole !

When asked how we ensure #StudentVoice, @statesmob encourages Boards of Ed to advocate for student seat & vote on the board; create genuine listening sessions/roundtables to hear from students; get into schools to hear directly from those in classrooms. #NASBELegCon @nasbe
