You must love without expecting anything in return; otherwise it's not truly love. You must respect without expecting anything in return; otherwise you don't truly respect them. You must speak honestly without expecting a pat on the back; otherwise you aren't truly being honest.

Something I taught 13 yo: One advantage companies that are still run by their founders have over other companies is that founders have the confidence to be unconventional. Employees worry they'll get in trouble if they do things differently. Founders don't.

I saw a report that said, “70% of youth lack emotional intelligence because they’re talking to devices instead of other people.” As parents, we need to take responsibility for this. These are our kids and it’s our job to teach them emotional intelligence.

I get asked all the time...what's the biggest hack in psychology? It's Confidence. The impact & ripple effect is massive: There is nothing it doesn't touch professionally, or personally. Self-belief, risk-taking, reaching higher, expecting better, and the list goes on.

I don't think people understand how beneficial being alone for a little while is. Taking time off from relationships, learning to love you, finding out who you truly are, what you want out of life, learning to be content with or without someone. Very necessary.
