Huge development for Notre Dame-Miami. Toney is the main character of the Hurricanes entire offense.
After undergoing further testing, Miami star wide receiver Malachi Toney is currently expected to undergo surgery due to the ankle injury he suffered today during practice, sources tell @CBSSports.
The current belief is that it’s not a season-ending injury, per sources.

Last night, crowds up on Short Vine destroyed property, set fires, vandalized vehicles, started fights—and assaulted CPD Officers who were just trying to keep everyone safe.
This CPD Officer was beaten and kicked repeatedly. The Officer required stitches and medical attention. This video is hard to see—and this is only the end of the video—it does not show the beginning where the Officer was jumped, nor does it show the duration of the assault.

It was a frustrating 1st half for Notre Dame followed by a dominating 2nd half. The Irish won the game convincingly, but several defenders didn't finish the game and it reminded everyone why Notre Dame's series with Navy should end
