Wow, remarkable that this guy who led a movement that helped bring down communism more than 40 years ago is still around and speaking out
Former Polish President Lech Walesa to the US: "Reclaim, as Americans, your leadership role in the world. And you can begin by saving Ukraine."

My take: Boeing finally has a CEO that told Wall Street what they needed to hear and not what they wanted to hear. Wall Street wants 737 MAX and 787 production increased yesterday. CEO Kelly Ortberg is taking a slow and conservative approach to rate hikes. I think this is correct move in the long run. Boeing’s failures of the past were caused by taking shortcuts, ramping up already unstable production lines, and worrying about next year’s free cash flow. Boeing stock was down 10.7% today but I view today’s earnings report + call as further evidence that this is a new Boeing. A Boeing that is determined to not make the same mistakes as its past.
Boeing got the kitchen sink today and people don't see that.

It is not a declaration of war. I’m not sure when both the right and the left decided to start throwing these terms around but it’s irresponsible, dangerous, and not productive in the least. I watched @TheRealKeean talk about going to war, now I’m seeing Grand Chief Stewart Phillip do the same. This is legislation, and it must reflect the expectations of voters - that’s how democracy works. British Columbians voted for the BC Conservatives and part of their campaign was to repeal it, and citizens voted for it. If after an election, you don’t like the result and the policies - you shouldn’t start viewing that as a declaration of war. It’s democracy in action. If my members voted for a new Chief, with a different vision, I don’t get to call that an act an act of war - I respect the results and seek to work with the new leader on their path.

Approximately 1.8 million people in Canada identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit). Over the past 10–11 years alone, the federal government has directed roughly $250–300 billion toward Indigenous programs, services, transfers, and settlements—primarily benefiting First Nations communities. Despite this scale of spending, Indigenous people continue to experience the highest poverty rates, the highest incarceration rates, and the highest rates of homicide victimization in Canada. Repeating the same approach year after year while expecting substantially different outcomes is not a viable strategy. A fundamental change in policy and delivery is needed.

The most important, indisputable fact that’s been lost on the Israel hating left is that tomorrow Israel is holding a free and fair election, unlike… checks notes… every single other country in the Middle East.

Pretty hard to find a better example of a tariff that is causing more harm to US industry (and consumers) for less strategic or economic gain than the steep tariff on Canadian aluminum 1/2

British Columbians have every right to debate how their public lands are governed, without threats or intimidation. Disagreements over legislation must be resolved through democratic institutions, public debate and the rule of law.

I think there's an excellent chance AI skyrockets into being a defining issue for the 2028 election, probably alongside (as always), the economy.

I’ve always wondered why wealthy First Nations bands who own casinos, gas stations, smoke shops, mineral rights, pipelines or other tax-free businesses are not mandated to share some profits with less fortunate bands since most of the businesses are started with government money.

Whenever these announcements are made a new wave of grief comes upon me. Our intellectual horizon is closing. The mental struggles and accomplishments that inspire us & give us purpose are being rendered irrelevant. This is too great a price to pay for any amount of prosperity.

This is Nisga’a nation and i want you to hear the difference when she takes questions Nisga’a has the first modern treaty in BC, which excludes them from the Indian act She explains why she supports Prime Minister Carney, and fast tracking major projects This is a nation that my own nation, Tahltan, have partnered with to open a port in the north for mineral exports. Yes, a 100% indigenous owned Port in to Asia This is what a progressive nation is like, and this is why it’s important for Canadians to know not every single First Nation in BC is represented by AFN

Yes, repealing DRIPA does not impact existing rights under Section 35. But it would result in a move back to a ‘consult’ approach versus a ‘consent’ requirement for many resource companies operating in BC on crown land. That one word difference is important.

Excellent plan
Elon Musk said nobody has any plan for how to end the war in Ukraine. Not true, I have a plan. The plan is building as many ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and strike drones as humanely possible and launching so many of them into Russia that Russia begins to crumble.
