My daughter’s teacher emailed me asking me to stop sending her expensive lunches. My daughter is 10. I pack her lunch every morning because she doesn’t like cafeteria food. Usually it’s a sandwich, fruit, a small dessert, and a drink. Sometimes I add sushi or leftovers from dinner. The teacher said other students had started comparing lunches and complaining that my daughter was getting special treatment. I asked whether she had been sharing food.
