Can someone explain why people saying Resident Evil (2026) has “nothing to do with Resident Evil” are missing what makes the franchise work? 😭 We don’t always need Leon, Jill or Chris at the center of the story. This movie simply shows the outbreak through the eyes of an ordinary civilian who gets caught in the middle of it. That doesn’t make it less Resident Evil. It’s just showing us the same nightmare from a completely different perspective.
