I think millennials are having a factory reset. Nobody wants their career. Nobody wants corporate culture. Nobody wants another fucking productivity app. We just want a little house, some hobbies, financial security and to be left the fuck alone. Apparently that’s radical now.

The loss of customers at meat stalls is also affecting vegetable vendors, firewood suppliers and traditional bread sellers in informal markets, Affirmative Repositioning MP Vaino Hangula has warned. Using Katutura's Oshetu Market at the Single Quarters as an example, Hangula described how a decline in meat sales affects traders whose products are commonly bought alongside kapana. Even sellers whose goods are not affected by foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) are losing income. He referred to NBC News reports about pap, salsa and vetkoek sellers experiencing reduced demand, as well as a traditional bread seller in Wanaheda whose customers usually buy bread to eat with meat. Hangula wants these indirect losses included in the government's assessment of the FMD outbreak. He proposed that municipalities and trader associations help identify affected businesses and determine who qualifies for temporary assistance. The support could include relief from market stall fees, while banks and state development lenders could consider restructuring repayments for traders and borrowers affected by the disruption. Although he welcomed the proposed N$179 million for FMD containment, Hangula questioned whether the response adequately accounts for people whose income has been interrupted by the restrictions. He also wants authorities to clarify which products may still be traded, where traders can obtain supplies and what permits are required. He argued that blanket restrictions should not prevent safe and authorised trade. Hangula said the government must protect livelihoods alongside efforts to contain the disease. BREAKING: Estimated $5.7 billion stolen in hack of world's largest exchange Binance

🚨🇺🇸 One hacked employee laptop just cost Binance an estimated $6.3 billion, the biggest crypto theft on record Binance says attackers likely got in through a compromised DevOps engineer's laptop and pushed through unauthorized withdrawals, and it has frozen deposits and withdrawals while it investigates and promised to cover every customer's loss. About $3 billion has been frozen so far, most of it in stablecoins after Tether and Circle locked the tokens within hours, but roughly $2.4 billion in bitcoin and ether is still in the attacker's wallets, and those have no company that can hit pause. Bitcoin dropped more than 4% to under $78,000. The previous record, the Bybit hack in 2025, was $1.5 billion. The lesson is uncomfortable for an industry that sells itself as unhackable: the money that could be stopped was the money controlled by a company, and the money that got away was the part nobody controls. Getting it back now depends on the thieves trying to cash out through an exchange that cooperates, which can take months or years. Source: CNBC / Writer: Daniel

Namibia just keeps testing us 😭💔 Another repo rate hike, from 6.75% to 7.00%. Loans are getting more expensive, the cost of living is already high, and salaries aren’t keeping up. When do we catch a break? 🥲
