Copilot Cowork just got a serious upgrade. PROJECTS are here!
Give each project its own instructions. Keep the project context together. Find the files created by its tasks under Outputs.
Client engagements. App builds. Content production.
When you’re handing real work to an agent, the instructions and context deserve as much attention as the prompt.
This update was long overdue.
LET’S GOO!

Skills are now inside Copilot Brand Kits! 👀
Create a skill or import one directly into your kit, and make it available to everyone who has access.
I’d put the team’s presentation playbook here.
> How we turn a case study into a customer story.
> How we adapt a technical deck for executives.
> The review checklist we keep pasting into Copilot.
Those workflows can now live alongside the brand assets the team already uses.
Build the skill once. Share it through the Brand Kit.

The PowerPoint Agent is sooo good! You should try it out. I have 0 clue how to use PowerPoint, but now I shine in all my corporate presentations with my sleek AI-generated slides haha! It's such a lifesaver. I don't know how many hours I would have spent creating average slides otherwise.

Last week we started rolling out interactive slides in PowerPoint, and I wanted to share more about why I think it will transform your presentations when you can explore ideas together with your audience.
With interactive slides, you can use Copilot to synthesize context and data to create dashboards, timelines, or other slides you can click through to highlight insights and tell your story.

In @Nature this week, our new research shows how machine learning can improve weather forecasts two to six weeks out, a timeframe that's historically been very difficult to predict.
It's exciting to see the potential of this work to help us better prepare for extreme weather, manage natural resources, and make more informed decisions in agriculture.
There's a broader lesson here... the future may not just be about ever-more-capable models, but about building intelligent verification systems around them: systems that learn where models are systematically wrong, reason about cause and effect, and continuously calibrate predictions against reality.

Persistent agents open up a whole new way to think about business processes... It is not just about automating the steps we have today but rethinking how work gets done. Excited to see what people build with this in Copilot Studio.
New in Copilot Studio:
Agent accounts
+ agent memory
+ agent triggers
= a big step forward for teams automating business processes.
Now agents built with Copilot Studio can get their own identity, use it to interact across many surfaces, remember context and improve across those interactions, and kick off work based on events and schedules, not just chat messages.
This goes way beyond a personal productivity assistant. For example:
A Budget Coordinator agent can now review every new cost line item overnight, tag the right owner in the spreadsheet on transactions that look like they need more scrutiny, drop a summary into your group Teams chat and respond to three emails about invoices while you're on the train into work. BudgetCoordinator has its own secured access to data and interacts and responds as itself (not a maker or end user). It remembers what it was told and the preferences of people who interact with it.
A Project Manager agent can collect status from multiple signals and people, remember it all and update the report accurately, be mentioned in a comment and respond to it, and know to send the right updates to stakeholders every day at 5pm. "ProjectManager are we on track for milestone 3?" "ProjectManager mentioned you in a comment"

Macro recording for Excel Copilot skills.
A lot of us learned to code by recording a macro and reading the VBA it wrote. Now you can do the same with Copilot: do the task you repeat every month the way you always do it, and Copilot turns it into a skill you can reuse with an @mention.
Coming to Insiders later this month.
