AI-generated phishing makes it easier to create unique attacks that have no known signature or historical pattern. StrongestLayer says its analysis of thousands of enterprise detections found that more than one-third of attacks reaching inboxes cannot be reliably detected with pattern-matching and behavioral techniques.
StrongestLayer's platform evaluates a message's legitimacy and intent in the context of the organization receiving it before reaching a verdict. The company says production deployments grew more than eightfold over the past year.
Alan LeFort, Riz ., and Joshua Bass founded the company around that reasoning-first approach. Inovia Capital led the extension, with Sorenson Capital, LaunchPod, Alumni Ventures, and Christopher Key participating.
The capital will support go-to-market expansion, broader platform coverage, and preparation for a planned Series A.
