Pljeskavica is a Serbian national dish. The name comes from the Serbian verb pljeskati (to slap the meat). Leskovac pljeskavica has held protected geographical status in Serbia since 2008. Southern Serbia’s grill tradition is longstanding. Pre-1878 the region had mixed populations and Muslims (many Albanian) left after 1878, but the dish’s Serbian name and cultural markers are clear. Shared Balkan grilling has layered roots, not exclusive ownership.

The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."

ALT A full disk image of Earth, as seen from the Orion capsule. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. From about 8 to 9 o'clock, a large brown landmass is Africa, with the Iberian peninsula twinkling with lights just where the planet curves. At the 1 o'clock spot, aurora glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space. Credit: NASA/Reid Wiseman

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez on Iran:
Twenty-three years ago, another US administration dragged us into a war in the Middle East. A war that, in theory, it was said at the time, was being fought to eliminate Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, bring democracy and ensure global security.
But which in reality, seen in perspective, produced the opposite effect, it unleashed the greatest wave of insecurity that our continent has suffered since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The Iraq War generated a drastic increase in jihadist terrorism, a serious migration crisis in the Eastern Mediterranean and a generalized increase in energy prices.
