The tasting cards are printed on specialist paper from @GFSmithpapers made from recycled coffee cups to minimise environmental impact and create a cyclical sustainability loop. Fonts by @colophonfoundry.
Using colour as a visual nod to flavour, we designed a set of coloured gradients to cover a wide variety of potential coffee 'tasting notes'. So, rather than reading the tasting notes on each card before choosing, this new way-finder makes the selection process more engaging.
We created dynamic bag designs featuring a hot-stamped holographic foil logo outline and a 100% recyclable pouch material. This innovative design effortlessly combines beauty and sustainability, shifting colour based on the viewing angle to create a dynamic playfulness.
Our inaugural poster series pays homage to the most iconic and beautifully designed coffee brewers of all time. Sign up (link in bio) for early access to the first limited print run. Coming soon. – at Beeston, England

Brand Identity / Website / Strategy
Postroast was started to provide a platform for the best independent, local and sustainable speciality coffee roasters across the UK.
In line with Cartwheel's increased focus on sustainability, we designed new menu's with GF Smith's Extract paper in mind—an apt sustainability loop for the brand.

As part of a bigger branding project, we designed these cups for a coffee shop about 5 mins down the road from us. Excited to see them out in the open! – at Beeston, England
Having spent so much time in Figma recently, Illustrator feels clunky. Takes 3x as long to do anything.

Just your friendly weekend reminder that you don’t have to say yes to everything.
Nice to see some of our design work out in the open.
As part of our new look, we have developed brand guidelines, which look incredibly smart - we're sure you'll agree. Great to receive them in the post. Thanks to Grant Ritchie of @StudioYoke for producing them.

Photography and art direction for @postroastuk. We wanted to come up with a photography system that used colour as a visual taste way-finder but kept the coffee front and centre through minimal backgrounds and key lighting.
It helps when the packaging looks this good.
