Is it just me or when you talk to some parents and they say ow yeah my children all have ADHD, I just switch off straight away and don't want to hear another noise coming out of their mouth?
And I mean these are parents of functioning kids going to the exact same school as non ADHD kids, who BTW have to empathised from the situation as the teacher has to accommodate the lessons for Dawson in year 5 who can't stay still for more than 5 minutes because he played Minecraft and Roblox till 12am.
The over diagnosis is killing a generation already fragilised by a government pushing the mental health agenda.
Mental health is important when you're an adult. Really important.
When you are 8 or 9 you just need to learn how to deal with your emotions. You don't need to get labelled as an ADHD kid because you cried over a bowl of spilled corn flakes first thing in the morning and your day is ruined.
