Hi, I am Sui - Just a shy guy who wants to keep the software running, often against the wishes of mega-corporations.

Based, lol.
I am not 100% against AI, but if you don't put enough effort into products you make (and choose to go for volume spam instead) - no platform should carry the costs of hosting those files.
If Tim doesn't like it, Epic can host those.
The realization that YouTube tags videos as if you were watching them when you even hover over a thumbnail to see a preview makes me really mad. I bet - with recent changes - they also count those as "viewing" video as well in stats.
Expect slower pace with streams now that October is over and I try to focus a bit more on programming side projects.
It was a crazy month with 9 horror games finished, spanning multiple genres and years between 1996 and 2024.
The worst game of this month was undoubtedly Scorn (even if visually it is outstanding!) with 3 highlights of this month being Resident Evil 4 Remake, Clive Barker's Undying and Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of flesh (which kinda sucks, but it was so fun to stream!).
Alien: The Archive is a really interesting book. It can go from "Oh yeah, that's so 70s" to "Holy crap, that's looks like something from 2010s!" within a single page.
So this project I have actually completed in August. And while I have posted it in a few places, I was questioning whatever to make it fully public or not. But people found it useful (despite recent Vgen purge), so here it is:

And if you want to hear me talk about it - here is unlisted video (which I probably won't make public... idk):

I was asked to post about the project I have been working on, so I have made a quick video about it. If things go right, I will release it in like 6 hours. But first, a short stream.
I get a bit personal towards the end of the video, though. 😭

Update regarding community safety on VGen
UNETHICAL BROKERS:
Happy to say we’ve identified many previously unconfirmed JRUhub brokers, affiliates, and other unethical group accounts and they have all been banned for misrepresenting the nature of their profiles and services, intentionally inviting bad actors, and ban evading.
Big thank you to everyone in our community who has helped to investigate, report on-site, and provide detailed proof that our team were then able to review and take action on. Thank you for helping us keep the community safe!
REMAINING BROKERS:
In the short term, broker discovery has been rebalanced, their withheld funds processed through VGen Payments may not be released until after a commission is complete, and all brokers will continue to not have any invite codes. If any broker accounts mistype themselves as an individual or studio, they will now be suspended for at least 1 month immediately upon discovery.
We are still evaluating whether additional long-term actions are required.
Please do not assume all brokers are bad. However, if you do see suspicious behaviour, please continue to report them on-site and we will investigate.
ARTIST INVITE CODES:
There is now a hard limit of 2 unused artist invite codes per Verified Artist at any given time. If you earn more through a challenge or special event drop and you already have 2 in your dashboard, you won’t receive any more.
ARTIST CODE GIVEAWAYS:
Effective Nov 1, 2026, general contests, raffles, or applications are no longer allowed, even if recipients are screened. This is due to the increasing sophistication of groups who fraudulently misrepresent themselves as individuals.
If you see someone hosting a raffle or are in violation of our Artist Code Policy in any way, please report them on-site with a screenshot or link to their violating post and we’ll investigate. Their first offence will result in a warning before more severe administrative actions may be taken for repeated offences, including losing verification status and suspensions.
Please see our full VGen Artist Code Policy here: help.vgen.co/hc/en-us/articl…

Finished reading this finally. It is very repetitive and I've known like 85% of titles featured, but there is still plenty of cool behind the scenes information and I would recommend it to first person shooter fans.
