The UAE is helping drive the genocide in Sudan, yet Abu Dhabi is busy rolling out the red carpet for international celebrities and throwing lavish entertainment festivals while Sudanese people are being massacred.
The same UAE that fuels the RSF’s war through weapons, funding and military support is spending heavily on celebrity culture and global events to manufacture a glamorous image and bury its role in Sudan’s destruction.
Artists cannot claim ignorance or pretend their participation is harmless. Performing in Abu Dhabi while this genocide continues means lending their fame and platforms to a state using entertainment to whitewash its actions.

It makes me so sad, it took another child to liberate her from sexual slavery. That 40 year old man had roommates who told authorities that they didn’t notice anything bc she was introduced to them as “his gf”. I refuse to believe that you can look at her and not see a child.
FOR 17 MONTHS, A TEENAGE GIRL WAS MISSING. NOW WE KNOW WHAT SHE ENDURED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
She was held captive in an Oregon home, repeatedly assaulted, cut off from the outside world, and forced to remove her own braces with PLIERS so she would be harder to identify.
She was just 15 years old when she disappeared.
Kylie Arellano vanished from her home in Garden City, Utah, on May 29, 2025. For nearly a year and a half, her family and investigators searched for answers.
Now 17, Kylie has been found alive.
Federal investigators allege that Adam Hunter Harmel (39) met Kylie online, offered her money to travel to Oregon, and drove to Utah to pick her up.
Once in Oregon, Harmel allegedly threw her phone into a river, prevented her from leaving, and subjected her to repeated physical and sexual assaults.
But after 17 months, Kylie found a way to reach someone.
She reportedly contacted another child through an online gaming platform. That child told a parent, who contacted the FBI. Agents eventually listened in on a video call as Kylie described what had happened to her.
On November 1, 2026, authorities rescued Kylie from a home in Huntington, Oregon.
Harmel was arrested and is now facing federal charges.
Think about that. A teenager held captive for 17 months managed to find a way to get help through an online game.
And because another child spoke up, and a parent took it seriously, Kylie is finally free.
We know how investigators say she ended up in Oregon. What is difficult to comprehend is how she could be held there for 17 months without anyone discovering what was happening.
But today, the most important thing is that Kylie survived.
