PREFACE (TLDR): - The #Sunpump memecoin was launched by the SunPump team one day prior to the public release of their fair launch platform. - I discovered the token by finding a wallet address displayed on the final screenshot of a tutorial created by the SunPump team on their official @Medium showing how to launch or trade memecoins on sunpump.meme, checking the wallet on tronscan.org, and discovering the wallet had launched three contracts: $PUMP, $PDC, and $AIL. - After more people began to find out about the token(s), the SunPump team actively tried deleting any evidence that they'd launched it by scrubbing their respective sunpump.meme pages of all data, deleted the medium article, and lied to @TRONSCAN_ORG regarding the nature of these tokens so that they would label the three tokens as "phishing" on tronscan.org rendering the tokens as unfindable on the @TronLinkWallet, - The SunPump team also tried detering people from finding out that they'd launched the tokens by telling users in their official telegram channel that "the token was a scam" (on top of the warning label they had direct knowledge was untrue), which by all definition is slander, libel, market manipulation, and fraud. - The community that formed in t.me/SunpumpPortal relentlessly pursued for the SunPump team to show some accountability, to restore the sunpump.meme pages for all three tokens, to restore the metadata on the three tokens, to inform @TRONSCAN_ORG that the warning labels on tronscan.org were incorrect, and to issue us a public statement on the token and their reasons for attempting to cover up that they'd launched it. - The @sunpumpmeme team also tried mass reporting users sharing the truth on @X, which is abuse of the reporting system, which has rendered many users with warnings on their accounts, a few bans, and they blocked individuals like myself (I've since been unblocked). - After realizing that the #Sunpump token was launched one day before the sunpump.meme platform was even publicly available, I realized that there was no longer any possible way they could hide that they'd launched the token so I reached out to one of the core team members at @trondao and a day-one TRON whale; they respectively relayed the information to one of the core team members of @sunpumpmeme and its CEO (Steven Xia), whom then made the executive decision to restore the sunpump.meme page for the $PUMP token, restore its metadata, and remove the warning label from tronscan.org. - There has been no public apology or statement provided (which is something we expect, especially after the slander, libel, market manipulation, and fraud that has taken place against all investors or investigators of these tokens), the PolkadotCat and AI Launch tokens have not yet had their tokens properly restored in the ways in which PUMP has been now, and the @sunpumpmeme team has not reached out to ensure the issues have been properly resolved despite many attempts and promises by their admins on Telegram claiming that they would would make contact. - The $PUMP token was discovered in a near identical manner to $TST, covered up in an even more excessive manner than the @BNBCHAIN team's Test Token, and was launched by the @sunpumpmeme team with the exact name as their #Sunpump brand. - At the time of writing, the @sunpumpmeme's utility token, SUN, hovers around a $160M market cap, while their memecoin, PUMP, hovers around a $400k market cap. - The @sunpumpmemecoin community believes the #Sunpump token has the potential to become a flagship on the TRON network, especially if properly supported by the @sunpumpmeme team, and has high hopes that @justinsuntron will recognize the potential of this memecoin, regardless of whether its discovery was intended or not, and harness its potential to take TRON and let it PUMP to the SUN! ORIGINAL DISCOVERY Around the middle of February, 2025, I ended up discovering a tutorial on how to trade and launch tokens on sunpump.meme in a medium article created by the @sunpumpmeme team. The original @Medium article is referenced in an X post (nitter.gq/sunpumpmeme/status/182…), the original tutorial has since been deleted (medium.com/@sunpumpmeme/unlo…), but can still be viewed on @waybackmachine: web.archive.org/web/20240818… On the surface level, it appeared to be an innocent tutorial showing users how to launch memecoins and trade memecoins on the Tron network, but inconspicuously included on the final screenshot of the Medium article, their wallet address (still connected to the platform) can be very clearly seen in the centre of the picture: TVh9t4rM9giUkBM2wA6PU6op1w6SDBPZ4U If one were to manually take note of this wallet address, punch it into tronscan.org, and click on the "Contracts Published" they would come across this list: tronscan.org/#/address/TVh9t… In the list, it can be seen that the deployer launched three contracts over time: Sunpump, PolkadotCat, and AI Launch: 1. Third Token Name: AI LAUNCH Ticker: AIL CA: TGqaXKSn3VUku6HubWg7BeudoFTEVaVLxW Sunpump: sunpump.meme/token/TGqaXKSn3… Created: tronscan.org/#/contract/TGqa… Deployer: TVh9t4rM9giUkBM2wA6PU6op1w6SDBPZ4U After discovering the three tokens, I wrote up a post detailing what I had found thus far, so there would be a public record of my findings, proving I was the first to discover that the @sunpumpmeme team seemingly had launched a token in a near identical manner to that of the @BNBCHAIN team's $TST token: nitter.gq/HexicanHeartel/status/… Having been a part of the TST token from $300k to 500M, I knew what a huge opportunity the PUMP token could be for the TRON network if it was used at the right time to generate awareness, become viral, and pivot users from other chains onto TRON. The TST token was launched and discovered via a tutorial showing how to use the four.meme platform, then the @BNBCHAIN team tried covering it up, then they admitted to launching it, and @cz_binance used it to his advantage to popularize tokens on BNB and it resulted in unprecedented volume the likes of which had not been seen since the previous bullrun, rendering mass adoption yet again. Almost everyone in memecoins knows of this success story, what it did for holders of the TST token, and the adoption it created for BNB as a whole... this story is something we already know is a narrative the general public resonates with well and has a precedent existing that acts as a proof of concept. After ensuring that the post was made showing I had discovered the existence of the tokens, especially the PUMP token, I decided to pay it very little attention until there was a stronger indication that @justinsuntron and @trondao were going to actively try to pivot users from other chains to TRON. FAST FORWARD About a month had passed since my discovery, when on August 18th, 2024, I saw @justinsuntron make an X post, where he said "Tron Meme szn 2.0 CONFIRMED. FullyLoaded!": nitter.gq/justinsuntron/status/1… I began reaching out to people, ramped up the level at which I was sharing it in my channel (t.me/HexicanCalls), began sharing it in private groups, and started hosting spaces on X. Very quickly a community began to form and people asked me to create a telegram group for the project, so heeding the advice of the community, I created one (t.me/SunpumpPortal), and within about a day or so, we watched the PUMP token go from around $25k market cap to nearly $1.5M market cap. Then, the unimaginable happened: First, the team at sunpump.meme started trying to cover their tracks by first deleting their medium article showing the wallet address that lead to the discovery of their various launches (the PUMP, PDC, and AIL tokens). Then, they began scrubbing the sunpump.meme pages belonging to the respective tokens. If that wasn't enough already, they then wiped the metadata on the tokens, rendering the tokens without any token logo images, and also reached out to @TRONSCAN_ORG to have their censor the tokens by marking them as "phishing" tokens, which caused them to disappear from investors' wallets (unless manually added back) and made it so transactions no longer showed up on tronscan.org. Community members began actively digging for more evidence and discovered they were soft-shilling the token (nitter.gq/sunpumpmeme/status/189…). Then, after the community began repeatedly asking them to resolve this, begging them to restore the socials, they claimed they would look into it and get back to us. Rather than getting back to us though, they began actively deleting our messages, banning us from their chats, blocking us on X, and falsely reporting our accounts despite having direct knowledge they were the ones to have launched these tokens. In layman's terms... they were conspiring to conceil the truth through fraudulent means, then even went so far as to slander us when claiming we were a "scam" and that we were lying, which the warning message on the @TRONSCAN_ORG claiming these were "phishing" token also definitively proves. RESOLUTION ATTEMPTS I ended up getting in touch with someone to discuss the issue, whom I wasn't even aware was one of the top $TRX holders at the time; someone who has been a major holder and supporter since the launch of the TRON network. We started up a friendly conversation regarding the issues that were transpiring and I quickly came to learn that the person was highly connected in the TRON space; the person began opening up connections within their own circles to me, and if it were not for this benevolent actor, things may have gotten even worse. He reached out to some of the core team members working at @trondao, connected me to one of them named Hunter (@iBeatWallStreet), who I was then able to explain the situation to. Although Hunter and I seemingly saw eye to eye on the situation and how them being supportive of the $PUMP token could be benficial to the TRON network, the SunPump platform, and help bring new life to TRON, it wasn't within his personal power to be able to resolve the issues, and thus connected me with a different core team member at @trondao (his own boss, who I will not name since it is irrelevant). His boss never read my messages or responded to any of my requests regarding the resolution the community would like to see after being harmed in such a malicious manner by the team at sunpump.meme. The person whom connected me with Hunter also connected me with whom he believed was the CEO of SunPump, a woman named Jo, but it turned out that she no longer was the CEO and had been replaced by a man named Steven Xia. A source I won't name began sharing leaked conversations between Steven Xia and another party discussing how his "tech team" at SunPump was denying that they'd launched the token, despite all of the evidence I'd gathered and the mounting evidence being collected by various community members in the @sunpumpmemecoin group; based on the conversation I was able to see, it appears to me that Steven Xia was under the impression our claims weren't legitimate in nature due to his own team at SunPump pulling the wool over his eyes. The community kept rallying on X for a proper resolution and acknowledgement, despite the SunPump team's repeated attempts to silence us through blocking, malicious reporting (abuse of the reporting tool at @x), silencing us in their chats by deleting our plees for help, deleting our sunpump.meme pages, attempting to delete the evidence when they deleted the Medium article, deliberatly falsifying information regarding the token via false warning labels they brought to the tokens on tronscan.org, and outright calling the token a scam. There seemed to be no resolution in sight for now and the community was ready to turn this into the next $GME like scenario, where we no longer would be rallying FOR TRON and FOR SUNPUMP, but rather to advocate against corruption, market manipulation, and fraud, and thus began discussing the potential to involve @BurwickLaw, @zachxbt, @coffeebreak_YT, and others to really investigate this properly and make sure things like this never happen again, especially when these things are being perpetuated on a small memecoin community by a top 10 blockchain's core teams... the most centralized and corrupt behaviours we'd ever witnessed against the little guys... truly the OPPOSITE of what crypto is all about. It looked as though this was going to be a gigantic uphill battle, but then I realized something in the middle of our research; there was one thing I had overlooked all along that automatically rendered it impossible that anyone could have launched this other than their team: The token was launched on August 12th, 2024, but their platform wasn't yet launched until August 13th, 2024... no one other than them could have launched this token, especially when considering all of the other pieces of evidence we'd already collected. PARTIAL RESOLUTION After realizing that the $PUMP token was launched one day prior to the public release of the platform, I immediately brought it to the attention of Hunter and the unnamed day-one $TRX whale, who began further pleading our case with other contacts of his. The resolution we were seeking: 1. The $PUMP, $PDC, and $AIL tokens need to have their sunpump.meme pages fully restored, their metadata fully restored, and the tronscan.org "phishing" labels removed. 2. For them to unblock those of us whom they blocked on X. 3. We want a public acknowledgement of my findings directly on the @sunpumpmeme X account, including recognition for my discovery, and for them to reference the old medium article via the "web archived" version, and to then publish a new article that is a carbon copy as the original. 4. In the public acknowledgement on X, we also want them to share what our community link is (t.me/SunpumpPortal), to share our contract address (so that it cannot be mistaken for another incase scammers attempt to quickly launch one with the same name and ticker), and to provide an explanation for the what has happened. What has the @sunpumpmeme team done so far to resolve the issues and what haven't they yet done? 1. They unblocked my personal account on X. 2. They restored the sunpump.meme page, restored the metadata, and removed the "phishing" label on tronscan.org for the $PUMP token. 3. TRON team has since decided to mute me from sending messages in the @trondao official telegram group on my personal account (t.me/TheHexican). 4. They has not yet resolved any of the issues pertaining to $PDC or $AIL, despite those by default also being tokens they launched (since they were launched on the same deployer) and thus are still committing fraud and market manipulation against investors holding those tokens or interested in buying those tokens. CONCLUSION Any single token that was launched on the sunpump.meme platform is able to be censored by @sunpumpmeme team without any explanation given. This is an extreme vulnerability that could be abused by a hacker or rogue employee who saw a token as competition to a personal investment of their own, whom could then hack into their systems, and delete token metadata or sunpump.meme pages outright. While the team has resolved less than 1/3 of the problems they've caused, they have yet to show a true change of heart, have not yet acknowledged our findings, and are seemingly more dedicated to protecting their public image than protecting the very public they supposedly serve. It is our hopes that we see the team at @sunpumpmeme promptly restore all of the socials for the $PDC and $AIL tokens as well; also for them to remove the fraudulent "phishing" label applied to their respective tokens on tronscan.org. We want the $PUMP token to be recognized for what it is: Sunpump is the only token other than $SUN representing their brand on a token that was launched by their own team. While we cannot speak as to why it is they decided to censor us so heavily, we can only assume that the new CEO, Steven Xia, was very displeased to find out employees decided to so carelessly launch a memecoin with their own personal brand, leave behind such definitive evidences, and that a community decided to rally around it. That being said, maybe they should just learn to go with the flow... take a look at $TST: At first the @BNBCHAIN team tried denying that the token was theirs and deleted their tutorial pertaining to the token, which caused the token to tank to $300k, but after they admitted the truth, helped support it, and @cz_binance also began giving it attention, it rose to $500M within a few short days, was listed on @binance, and ended up resulting in the $BNB chain gaining mass adoption once again. Our community doesn't hate @trondao or @sunpumpmeme; quite the opposite in fact. We expect them to do the right thing, however, and we are hoping @justinsuntron steps in and really capitalizes on this opportunity and helps us turn this into the next TST. Either way though; SUN + PUMP = #Sunpump.
