Happy to share new joint work (arxiv.org/abs/2609.30139) with Samruddhi Pednekar! We prove a general composition theorem for the approximate degree of total Boolean functions.
Glad to share new work with my student David Miloschewsky (@dmiloschewsky)! Quantum walks find a welded tree's exit exponentially faster than classical algorithms. Efficient pathfinding remained open. We show it requires exponentially many quantum queries. arxiv.org/pdf/2609.20651

The 12th Innovations in Theoretical Computer Science (ITCS) conference will be online on Jan 6-8 itcs-conf.org/. Registration is **FREE**!
ITCS is to STOC/FOCS what ICLR is to ICML/NeurIPS for ML. Many refreshing papers, and program this year looks particularly strong!
While attending crypto conference it occurred to me that some talks could be NIZK (Non-Interactive Zero Knowledge) as well. #NIZK_talks

I was browsing through scirate when my eyes stopped an article. I could not believe what I just read. Sensitivity conjecture is solved. And amazingly the proof is so elegant. arxiv.org/pdf/1907.00847.pdf Huge congratulations to the author Hao Huang.
