Got curious and looked up the numbers since the anti-flopping rule started in 2023-2024…
23-24 season: 26 calls/fines
24-25 season: 6 calls/fines
25-26 season: 1 call/fine
The league knows exactly what they’re doing
I’ve always thought that booing your own team is pretty lame, but the easy fix to this situation is to not get manhandled by less talented teams who give more effort. Goes back to the Wolves series last season
If AG didn’t have lingering injury issues the last couple years the current feeling around this Nuggets squad would be completely different
Broncos vs. Cardinals next week will probably be this exact type of game. Decent chance it’s another 17-14 win in OT if we’re being honest.
They’re a nasty team to watch rn but they still know how to win!
Feels destined for a 30 second three and out after winning the toss and asking to receive
The Broncos are taking a more collaborative play-calling approach this week with HC Sean Payton having an increased role in the process and OC Davis Webb continuing with a significant game-planning and game-day role, per sources. Denver is looking to spark its offense ahead of Sunday’s game at Los Angeles vs. the Chargers.
Broncos are getting bailed with these calls but we’re calling it redemption from the colts game last year
Was hoping that Sean Payton no longer calling plays would mean less useless screens but boy was I wrong
Very rare situation where I’d respect a fan’s decision to jump ship and support another team
BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker, sources tell ESPN.
Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle and former business rep, Dennis Robertson. No contract void or suspension for Leonard. And Robertson -- who was fired by Leonard in June -- is being banned by the NBA from all business dealings.
Real chance Jokic isn’t even on the Nuggets roster by the time these draft picks start playing
BREAKING: Cleveland, Denver and the Clippers have agreed on a trade sending Peyton Watson to the Cavaliers, Max Strus to LA, and an unprotected 2031 Cavs first-round pick and a 2032 Kings second-rounder to the Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.
Watson will sign a new four-year, $88 million deal to join the Cavaliers, plus a player option and a trade kicker.
