Last week, the US cut MEXC off from American banks over at least $16B in alleged illicit flows. Market makers are already pulling funds.
This is one instance showing that exchange risk isn't only about hacks. A venue can lose its banking overnight.
If your fund trades on smaller venues, it's worth checking how quickly you could get everything off each one.

A big chunk of tokenized credit now sits inside looped positions on @Morpho and @kamino.
For @HastraFi's PRIME, which funds @Figure's home loans, it's over 60%. For @humafinance's PST, it's over 70%.
This suggests a lot of demand for tokenized credit comes from looping.
For funds running these, the book has three moving parts:
1) The token's yield
2) The borrowing cost
3) The leverage
Renesis brings positions like these into one view alongside the rest of your fund's book.

What's keeping institutions from investing in digital asset funds?
"When you're trading a DeFi book, often you have really complex strategies, loop positions, nested protocols that are working together & for a traditional institutional allocator, that's very hard to verify."

Crypto natives sometimes just forget just how small this industry is.
TradFi markets operate at a completely different scale.
Even capturing a fraction of the capital & activity that exists in TradFi could bring an entirely different level of growth to crypto.

If trillions in traditional assets move onchain by 2030, is the infrastructure ready to handle it?
In his conversation with the @Cointelegraph team, our founder @0xPratter breaks down his take and what we're building at Renesis to get there. 👇

Onchain funds are harder to account for than traditional funds.
Every transaction can mean something different depending on the protocol.
Our founder @0xPratter sat down with @opalesque to discuss the challenge of building trusted track records for emerging asset managers, why they matter for institutional capital entering onchain markets & how Renesis turns raw onchain activity into reconciled books, performance data & track records allocators can verify.

you can just do things
never give up
> be me
> create project in 2017, the "ethereum killer"
> raise $4.1B over a year, biggest ICO ever (no product)
> promise 1 million TPS (ends up only being a few thousand)
> promise $1B to fund the ecosystem (deployed zero)
> use the war chest to buy 164,000 BTC instead ($20.2k avg)
> also burn money on a social network nobody wanted (then shut it down)
> CTO quits to go build something else (again)
> SEC shows up: $24M fine (on $4.1B raised KEK)
> rebrands and pivots to "web3 banking" (still useless)
> price down 96% from ATHs
> spinoff exchange IPOs on the NYSE at $10b+ (what tokenholders?)
> now chilling on a beach somewhere, drinks in hand (ty for bagholding)

Three onchain markets that barely existed a year ago are now doing real volume.
1) Pre-IPO perps trade around $650M a week, letting people bet on private company valuations, especially AI labs without owning a share.
2) Onchain trading cards are close to $100M a week, up from $20M in January.
3) AI inference exchanges are turning compute into something you can trade with suppliers competing to fill each request at the lowest price.
Each one brings a new kind of position into a fund's book with its own pricing and settlement.
Renesis is built so that new position types land in the same book as everything else.

The Binance hack is now the biggest in the crypto history, roughly 4x the size of the Bybit hack.
Here's what credible sources have confirmed so far and what it means for funds🧵

i think this can be exceptional if scaled properly with right team and close the gaps eventually.

After $6B got stolen by Lazarus Group from Binance, I am pitching KoreanFlare again
I'm building KoreanFlare - voice-activated wallet protection against North Korean hackers.
Our solution is simple:
Before any transaction, users must say "Kim Jong is gay" into their microphone. If you refuse or sound North Korean, wallet locks permanently.
Why it works:
- No hacker wanna see “PigJong”
- No North Korean hacker will say it (instant execution)
- Voice AI detects Korean accent
- Decentralized proof-of-disrespect consensus
- 100% effective (my theory, no testing needed)
Built on Cloudflare but web3 because I said so.
Do you things dear @heyibinance and team. Thanks
Best,
Hrithik

Tokenized RWAs are emerging as the biggest opportunity for crypto hedge funds.
46% of funds already trading crypto picked tokenized real-world assets, ahead of crypto derivatives (23%) and stablecoin yield (15%).
Around 4 in 10 are already trading or exploring tokenized RWAs.
RWAs are moving higher up the priority list for institutional crypto. 🫡
