Had the privilege of meeting Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Real Time Governance and Human Resources Development, and Working President of Telugu Desam Party, Nara Lokesh, at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. Myself, along with Nitin Gadhia, represented Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited — now a Madhvani–Turner Group company — during the meeting, where we had insightful discussions on industrial growth, manufacturing, sustainability, investments, and the immense potential of Andhra Pradesh as an emerging hub for advanced manufacturing and exports. Shri Nara Lokesh Ji’s sharp focus on real-time governance, execution-driven administration, technology-led transformation, and investor facilitation truly reflects a modern and result-oriented approach to governance. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ji and in alignment with the development vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh is rapidly emerging as one of India’s most progressive and investment-friendly states. It is inspiring to witness the Government’s strong commitment towards ease of doing business, infrastructure development, employment generation, and creating a globally competitive industrial ecosystem. @naralokesh @ncbn @HNGILofficial @1SMM1 #investment #glass #hngil #andhrapradesh #naralokesh #cbn #nchandrababu @OfficeofNL – at Amaravathi, India

From Revival to Re-establishment, Expansion to Growth, HNGIL is scripting a new chapter of transformation and progress. Since its revival journey began in September 2025 under the Turner Madhvani Group, HNGIL has invested approximately ₹700 crore, revived operations across its plants, and leveraged advanced technology and skilled manpower to add 1,100-1,200 tonnes per day of manufacturing capacity. The recent successful light-up of Furnace 4 at the Bahadurgarh plant marks another significant milestone, with the plant's production capacity expected to double. Building on this momentum, HNGIL plans to invest an additional ₹300-500 crore in the current financial year to further strengthen and expand its manufacturing capabilities. A Legacy of Excellence. A Future of Possibilities. #HNGIL #HNGILBahadurgarh #Revival #Reestablishment #Expansion #Growth #Investment #GlassManufacturing

Flight to London diverted to Amsterdam yesterday after the UK airport shutdown. 18 hours at Schiphol, luggage can’t be offloaded & a Dutch transport strike rules out trains. We often complain about India, but our aviation infra & customer service are often better than the West.

HNGIL in the Global Spotlight Featured by Bloomberg The global energy crisis is reshaping industries, supply chains and manufacturing economics and India’s glass industry is no exception. In a Bloomberg story on the global LPG trade and the impact of the Iran conflict, Our Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Suraj Mehta (@surajbmehta), shares his perspective on how disruptions in global energy supplies are impacting India’s energy-intensive glass manufacturing sector. The feature highlights the scale of the ongoing LPG disruption: before the Iran conflict, India consumed around 100,000 tonnes of LPG every day, while disruptions to supplies through the Strait of Hormuz have significantly altered global and regional energy flows. India has since been looking beyond traditional Middle East supplies, with U.S. LPG emerging as an alternative source. For the glass industry, where energy is integral to continuous manufacturing, these shifts translate into higher energy costs, supply uncertainty and increased pressure on manufacturing operations. Amid these challenges, HNGIL continues to focus on operational resilience, supply security and long-term manufacturing strength, reinforcing the importance of building a more resilient Indian manufacturing ecosystem.
