well put. any marketplace running their own private label is stifling competition on their platform which would lead to lower seller affinity towards the platform in the long run.
🚨🚨Blinkit is not convinced that private labels are a profitable long term strategy
Meanwhile Swiggy has gone all-in to scale its in-house brand Noice

The level of service quality Pronto is absolutely terrible. Take prepaid bookings, cancel it claiming no answer by giving one ring "missed" calls and then offer no resolution.
Takes ages to connect to support and when it finally does they outrightly decline to resolve.. never faced this issue with UC instahelp and snabbit.

Its that time of the year again.
The festive time.
Every time Dusshra comes post 1996 only one memory stays in mind.
The heist that Kumble and Srinath pulled of at Bengaluru Titan Cup.
These visuals will never get old.
How on earth has this underworld gang survived for so long...

Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard.

🚨 Indian logistics companies have found the perfect scam: steal from D2C brands and let the customer take the blame.
Here’s how it works:
→ Prepaid order gets “cancelled” without the customer or brand knowing
→ Brand gets charged two-way delivery fees for an order nobody cancelled
→ Small items get shipped back in oversized boxes to inflate the RTO cost
→ Customer calls in confused: “I never cancelled this, I was waiting for it”
The brand loses the product, the shipping cost, the RTO cost, and the customer relationship. In one transaction.
Every D2C founder in India has lived this. Not once. On repeat.
And the wildest part? This is a multi thousand crore leak across the industry and almost nobody is building to fix it. 🤷🏻♂️

Last year, we switched our payment gateways for better pricing.
and we completed left our old payment gateway.
but few days back while I was with my CA preparing for ITR,
I logged back to my old payment gateway for settlement report and found they were holding 4.76 lakhs worth of money due to pending re-kyc.
And the fun part? There were hardly any reminders on mail.
While escalating this issue with the payment gateway founder, the money was transferred immediately.
But this looks really scary.
As founders, we are so involved in our day-to-day operations that we forget to reconcile the money we get from the payment gateway and shipping companies by blindly trusting them.
D2C founders, beware if you're using @delhivery.
Our experience over the last 2 months has been shocking:
• Incorrect/contradictory sorter weights & dimensions leading to incorrect excess-weight charges
• Genuine damage claims repeatedly rejected, despite evidence
• False/incorrect information repeatedly provided on support tickets
• Shipments showing ZERO movement for >10 days, then suddenly marked RTO
• Fake/questionable NDRs despite customers confirming no delivery call/attempt
• Tickets actioned days later, by which time shipments are already RTO
• Extremely poor POC support
• Even escalation through Delhivery's own escalation matrix has gone unanswered
We use other courier partners/aggregators. None require this level of chasing just to get genuine issues investigated.
And after escalating these documented issues to senior management, 2 days later, not one senior leader has responded.
@delhivery, for a large, listed logistics company, this is unacceptable.
This is no longer about isolated shipments or poor service. There is a fundamental issue of trust in the processes and, increasingly, the culture behind them.
Sushil Kothari retweeted
Every vendor has reached out to us, and the cost pressure is becoming increasingly difficult to absorb. Sugar is up by ₹10/kg, while ghee is nearly double its earlier price. At the same time, we remain constrained because aggregators do not allow us to increase dish prices by more than 10%.
We are effectively caught in the middle — input costs are rising sharply, while our ability to pass those increases on to the customer is limited.
Ab bataiye, kya karein? Aur kitna absorb karein?
What is with Bengaluru airport cab drivers spending the entire ride talking to their buddy on the phone?
It's a 2-hour call... Almost every single time. 😭
Hey @AirIndiaX, you guys preponed the flight by 15 mins but there was no notification whatsoever. I luckily saw the info screen but many folks were scampering at the last moment including a elderly people. Informing passengers at the check-in counter and a whatsapp/text will help. Thank you for the attention to this matter.
