There's a great story with this jacket that's been past down from senior kids for many years. Very cool.

What a week!! At the Southern Zone Senior Championships, our MARSian swimmers broke 4 relay records and two individual records. We also had quite the medal haul! I'm very proud of our kids!

Christmas practice Day 4.5: tough countdown set this AM, so we have a Relay-O-Rama this afternoon. I even threw my 10 yr old daughter in with my big smelly kids to even things up. Fun stuff, and the best part is they forgot all about the hundreds of yards they're sprinting. 🤣

Wheel of Fortune this afternoon for Senior practice at UTA. This is a traditional holiday practice.....since 1977! I'm sure Coach Shannon made this up, given her advanced years 🤣

Equipment "Deck Sale" again tonight at UTA. Last night for the $1 fins or kick boards or buoys, and the new logo equipment bags. Headed to GV this week. No cash. We'll charge you account.

Don't forget to scan the QR code for the Health Screening before every practice.
End of an era. I got my start in North Texas more than 30 years ago coaching at Hugh Smith. Wow, they wasted no time with the demolition.

Decided to teach across the curriculum this afternoon for the first half of practice. A lot of whining from the kids about the "math" on the board. 😂
