Bottomline, the price of speaking up is different for the masses & the privileged.
The silence of the privileged bears greater consequences for Filipinos while speaking up often carries greater personal/individual risk for the masses.

Y'all only see the privilege of the "Iskolar ng Bayan" titles when it's the rich or non-politically vocal people studying in the university. But when they actually embody the essence of being one, they're mocked, made fun of, and called names by their own kababayans. 😓
