"clichés are boring" when they're supposed to be "only friends with benefits" but they catch themselves getting jealous at the thought of the other fucking someone else and cant figure out why

Guys if you loved someone and lost them forever (accounting for Many ways to do that) would you rather keep the memory of loving them or would you rather lose the memory of loving them. Please and thank you for participating in my survey

i think a lot of this ao3 fic distributing discourse could be solved if you all stepped back and treated it like fanart. generally speaking, most fanartists probably don't care if you download their work to go back and look at once in a while-

i think the ponytail needs to be bigger and also the robes are still Nondescript White-wearing Shou. it needs some silver filigreed details bc thats whats iconic to lingwang. i can send refs to ur disc

and also each author will have their own boundaries. i dont care if you download and distribute my fics as long as ur not making money from said distribution but u cant assume every author is cool with it

ao3 discourse revealing that a lot of people don't understand the difference between downloading for personal use (non-distributing) and uploading to a shared drive without permission from the author (distributing)
