Uttarakhand has 5 Lok Sabha MPs and 3 Rajya Sabha MPs. Around 20–25 lakh people from our state live in Delhi-NCR. Yet, we cannot come together and stand with Ankita’s parents in their fight for justice.
This is not just the government’s failure. It is a failure of our collective conscience too. We need to ask ourselves what is stopping us from standing together for our own people.
