In 2012 dabs used to be taken at +1000°F. 10 years later they are being taken as low as 450°F thanks to innovations in the space. Temperatures didn't just drop overnight. They slowly fell with progress. I remember there was a time I thought 710°F was optimal.

Breaking a Control Tower with Cavitation:
Highlighting 4 of a couple dozen dunks.
Cavitation can be avoided by simply dunking the Tower vertically instead of horizontally as shown.

Wish I had the 5,000 fps camera for this, but 60 fps will have to do for now. Two cavitations occurring in one dunk, luckily the dish held on. This is insane to me. Cavitation hypothesis confirmed.
